We’re looking forward to introducing you to Re Carter. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Re, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of the morning are the most important. Science shows that the first two to three hours after waking are when your brain is at its peak for focus, clarity, and productivity. That’s why I’ve built a routine to set the tone for my entire day. I wake up at 5 a.m. every morning, go through my simple morning routine; brushing my teeth, taking care of the essentials, and having something light to eat. By 6 a.m., I’m on my mat for Hot Yoga, fully present, energized, and ready to make the most of my day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Milwaukee-born and Texas-inspired, Re found yoga in March 2022 just as she was navigating a challenging transition. The practice quickly became her sanctuary, and two years later she earned her RYT‑200 certification and founded Revive Yoga & Fitness LLC to empower others through mindful movement. In her classes, you’ll rediscover your strength, soften into stillness, and step back into your fullest self. Her classes are an invitation: pause, breathe, and rediscover the healing power within. What truly sets Re’s work apart is her deep commitment to correct form, mindful movement, and injury prevention. he guides students toward proper alignment in every pose, not just for the sake of technique, but to ensure they can practice safely for years to come. For her, yoga isn’t only about the flow; it’s about the breath-work, the mindfulness, and the patience we give ourselves as we nurture and heal our bodies.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a complacent individual who went with the flow and settled. I was content with being comfortable and letting the days pass me by. Now, i take everyday as a blessing, as a new opportunity as a gift. I am not comfortable with settling. I want to grow, learn, guide, educate, be educated, teach, and flow with what aligns with me.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, when i moved to Texas from back home it was a huge transition for me. I moved to a new state by myself and it was overwhelming, lonely, and new. The first three months were the worse for me and i almost quit and moved back home, but if there’s a will there’s a way, and one was made for me. Three years later, i am still here.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Integrity. I am a someone who is very open and honest. I am someone who hold strings values and beliefs on principle and right and wrong. While i am all of those things, i am also a person who is open to understanding and growing and learning.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Worrying.
