Playing soccer! Its my escape and where I am able to enter flow state and be free during that time. It’s my stress reliever, my passion, my complete joy.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
EN Fútbol here! We’re professional athletes and coaches, and the only female soccer duo on TikTok. We’re Norma and Emily—our goal is to inspire athletes to keep improving and reach their highest potential.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
Honestly, we’d say ourselves. In the athletic world, we had to teach ourselves through trial and error. Over time, our unique experiences, mistakes, and observations—and learning from the people around us—shaped how we approach work. It’s been a constant process of growing, adapting, and pushing ourselves to be better.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering introduced us to emotions we never wanted to feel again. While they weren’t the best, they taught us what we needed to avoid and pushed us to our limits. It showed us the value of resilience and the drive to keep growing beyond those tough moments.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That women aren’t as capable as men in sports is one of the biggest lies our industry tells itself. Another is that you have to play D1 university soccer to make it professionally. The truth is, neither of those beliefs is true—and breaking those myths is part of what drives us.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
YES. I always give my best, no matter who’s watching or whether anyone praises me. For me, it’s about holding myself to my own standard and knowing I did everything I could. That’s what really matters.
