Mukwenda Kandole shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Mukwenda, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ince breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
The first event I did for my podcast it was one of the best nights of my life. So many people came out to support and many people were encouraged which I prayed for!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Mukwenda Kandole. I have been an entrepreneur for almost 10 years helping brands scale through marketing and video storytelling. Doing everything from TV commercials, educational courses, podcasts and consulting $100 million companies; we’ve helped leaders project their voice through the noise of media through quality and clarity of message. I’ve had the honor to work with brands such as Chick-Fil-A, TBN, FOX, Chrysler, Toyota, Michigan Medicine, Universal and the 1DayLA “Freedom Experience” with Justin Bieber.
Along with these accomplishments, I started a podcast called Faithustle. A show dedicated to help Christian entrepreneurs learn how to build their business God’s way. With notable guest such as the CEO of Blue Bell Ice Cream, the producer of the hit show – The Chosen and dozens of Christian multi millionaires – our aim is to help business owners around the country to grow their businesses in a biblical manner.
Prior to starting his business, he dedicated his time to international missions that have taken him to 15 different nations to preach the gospel.
He currently resides in Dallas, TX where he serves at his local church.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My parents. They prayed over me with I was a baby and would tell me daily that I was a leader and that with God nothing is impossible. They fostered the spirit of adventure and belief that I still possess.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were several times I almost quit. One of them was last year. I was very tempted to just get a job, but of hard circumstances. I had to remind myself that God was with me and that if I just keep going I would see growth. I can live with failing, I can’t live with quitting.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say people. I value people and quality time with others. My gift is encouragement and that’s what you can find me doing constantly.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I truly loved God, I did my best to serve others and that I didn’t waste a single breath I was given. That I lived live to the full and lived to put others above myself.
