We recently had the chance to connect with Michele Cooper and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Michele, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Integrity is most important to me. Integrity is important because it builds trust and credibility, which is essential for strong relationships, effective teams, and ethical decision-making. It involves being honest, accountable, respectful, and keeping your word.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Michele Cooper and I am a pastry chef. I own and operate a business that specializes in fresh, made-to-order baked treats [cupcakes, cakes, cookies].
Everything is crafted from scratch with quality ingredients, and I love creating custom flavors and designs for special occasions. My goal is to bring a homemade touch that makes every celebration a little sweeter.”
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When I was a child, I enjoyed balancing my parents’ checkbook. It might seem small, but it made me feel powerful because I was trusted with something important. That experience gave me confidence early on and it shaped the way I approach details and organization.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self not to worry so much – it all works out
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
In all actuality, I still wait on Gods divine wisdom. When I am unsure of what to next, I talk to God about it and wait on the response
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
While it’s always encouraging to be recognized, I don’t rely on praise to stay motivated. I give my best because I want to be proud of the results, no matter who’s watching.
