Hi Rhiannon, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
Boudoir Photography has always been misunderstood. People assume it’s only for a certain body type, only about lingerie and that it exists only to please someone else. At Reverie Studios, we burn every one of those myths down. Boudoir is not performative it’s a reclamation, it’s survival alchemized into softness, unashamed power, dripping in luxury because you are given the rare permission to unravel, to desire, to take up space. It’s about reclaiming and remembering the parts of you the world told you to hide. Boudoir sessions are a transformation from the moment you walk through Reverie’s door. You will never see yourself the same again.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Rhiannon, the founder and creative force behind Reverie Studios, a luxury boudoir photography experience based in the DFW area. What sets Reverie apart is that it’s more than photography, it’s a reclamation of self, an inviting space where women can step fully into their power, sensuality, and confidence. Every session is crafted to honor their unique story, transforming vulnerability into art. I focus on creating an environment that’s luxurious, safe, and empowering. The experience itself feels as indulgent and transformative as the images created. Right now, I’m expanding my work to celebrate every stage of a woman’s journey, showing that boudoir isn’t just for a moment, it’s a movement of unapologetic self-love.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Fear.
Fear held me hostage for years, whispering that I wasn’t enough, that I couldn’t be seen, that I had to shrink myself so others would like me.
I survived a horrific divorce after 10 years of marriage, rising out of that dumpster fire extinguished every doubt, every shadow of fear that was inhabiting my body, leaving only me: untamed and free. This is what I bring to every session at Reverie Studios the courage to face fear, release it, and stand fully in your own power.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Success never taught me how to crawl out of bed when my world was falling apart. It never showed me how to breathe through heartbreak, or how to start over when I’d lost everything. That was suffering’s lesson. Success told me what I could do when life went right. Suffering showed me who I really was when it all went wrong and that’s the kind of strength you use to build empires.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What do you believe is true but cannot prove?
We’re living in a simulation, logically possible, currently… untestable.
