We’re looking forward to introducing you to Alex Borsattino. Check out our conversation below.
Alex, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
Most days I’m bouncing between a lot of different worlds. I’m driving classic cars across DFW with The Pegasus Collection, behind the desk editing or designing, at events like Stampede at the Stables, in coffee shops, in meetings with businesses big and small. The mix keeps me sharp. What I love most is the flexibility, it lets us serve clients in different ways while building a legacy that’s culturally relevant.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Alex, the founder of Jandroby Ltd Company. I picked up film photography in my youth, and coupled that with a lifelong passion for cars to shape this studio. Over time, Jandroby has grown into a creative company working with a wide variety of clients on projects both big and small. What makes us different is that we don’t box ourselves in. Whether it’s media, design, or strategy, we find ways to bring real value to the people we work with. That flexibility and perspective is what keeps the work meaningful, and why we still love doing it.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Same as now, honestly. A kid who liked cars and cameras. I never really let go of either, I just built a business around them.
Is there something you miss that no one else knows about?
Walking into car shows for the first time. I was blown away by the culture, the camaraderie, the whole experience this lifestyle brings. It still gets me excited, but nothing hits quite like those first impressions.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That it’s all about trends. The truth is, lasting work outlives trends every time.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
That presentation matters. How you show something can be just as important as the thing itself.
