Story & Lesson Highlights with Mrs. Tanicia Prioleau of Fort Worth

Mrs. Tanicia Prioleau shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Tanicia, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Good question! I am being called to start an internship program to teach others what I have learned over the last few years.

I would have been afraid to do this before, but although I initially hesitated, I know it will benefit the program’s participants.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Tanicia Prioleau is a publisher, author, wife, mother, and, most importantly, a child of God.
I founded Remnant Media Publications (rempublish.com), a faith-based publishing company committed to providing tools and resources that support spiritual growth from milk to meat. On my journey of salvation, having the right resources helped me mature in my walk with Christ. Now, we exist to create those same resources to empower others.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The planning phase has served its purpose; I am now in the active implementation phase and fully engaging with the community.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The biggest fear that held me back was the fear of the unknown. I had become so accustomed to what was familiar that I experienced anxiety about the unfamiliar and uncharted territory.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Smart people are making a mistake by refusing to delegate in their business. Trying to wear all the hats is counterproductive; delegating tasks is the strongest and most effective strategy.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I had ten years left, I would immediately stop allowing distractions to deter me. I would focus intently on my God-given tasks to ensure I leave footprints and a legacy.
