Hidden Gems: Meet Wesley Davis of Faithful Stewardship Law Firm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Wesley Davis.

Hi Wesley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was serving as general counsel for a company going through a sale process when I recognized that my role might not survive the transition. During that time, I started estate planning as a side business, drawn to the field because it allowed me to live out my faith in a practical way. Estate planning gives me the chance to share biblical wisdom with families, to be a witness to God’s grace, and to help others steward well what they’ve been given. My own life has been shaped by God’s undeserved grace, and I feel compelled to use the skills and opportunities He has blessed me with for His kingdom.

Getting started was not easy. There are countless hurdles before you can even open the doors to a law practice—insurance, office space, advertising, software, and the right education, all before earning a dollar. At the same time, I was navigating major life changes: getting married, buying a home in Fate, TX, adopting two Aussie puppies, and, most importantly, welcoming our daughter in July of 2025. Through it all, God provided. I was able to keep my full-time job until just after our daughter’s birth, when I transitioned into the firm full time. Since then, I’ve watched God open doors for steady growth and provision.

Some of my most fulfilling moments have come in the work itself. I’ve had the privilege of praying with a family for their aunt and then seeing God bring her healing from cancer. In another case, I helped a family pay off their home through a complex trust administration matter, giving them the freedom to focus on raising their children with special needs. These experiences remind me that estate planning is more than documents and legal processes—it’s about walking alongside families in some of their most important seasons of life and seeing God at work amidst them.

Today, my firm is growing, and I’m thankful for the chance to offer families affordable, flat-fee guidance rooted in both legal knowledge and biblical principles. While it can be challenging at times, I know that God is using every conversation and every case for good. I’m excited to see where He leads next and grateful for the chance to serve families in a way that honors Him.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting a law practice comes with countless hurdles before you can even serve your first client—everything from obtaining insurance and finding office space to building a website, running ad campaigns, investing in software, and keeping up with continuing education. All of that requires thousands of dollars and countless hours without any immediate return. On top of the business challenges, my personal life was full of major transitions at the same time. I got married, closed on a new home, adopted two puppies, and welcomed our daughter in July 2025—all while trying to lay the foundation for a firm.

There have also been the day-to-day struggles of building a client base. It can be frustrating to spend hours on calls giving free advice, knowing I have a family to provide for. But I’ve learned to see even those moments as part of God’s plan, trusting that He is using each interaction for good. Looking back, the challenges have been a blessing, because they’ve stretched me, deepened my faith, and reminded me that the firm is His, not mine.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Faithful Stewardship Law Firm is a Christian estate planning firm dedicated to helping families steward well what God has entrusted to them. We specialize in wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guiding families through probate and guardianship matters. While the legal side of our work is essential, what sets us apart is the heart behind it: we aim to make estate planning accessible, affordable, and rooted in biblical wisdom.

We offer flat-fee services so that families know exactly what to expect, without the uncertainty of hourly billing. Our clients appreciate that we take the time to educate them, walk with them through their options, and craft plans that reflect not just their financial goals but also their values and legacy. We’ve also had the privilege of serving families with unique needs, such as creating Section 2503(c) Minor’s Trusts, administering complex estates, and offering counsel during some of life’s most difficult seasons.

What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is that our firm is not just about documents — it’s about ministry. We’ve prayed with clients, provided meals during hard times, and seen God work in powerful ways through these relationships. We want readers to know that estate planning doesn’t have to be overwhelming or impersonal. At Faithful Stewardship Law Firm, our mission is to combine excellent legal services with compassion, clarity, and faith, so that families can feel confident about their future and focus on what matters most.

How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t measured by the size of my firm or the number of clients I serve—it’s about faithfulness. If I can use the gifts God has given me to bless families, point them toward Him, and steward well the opportunities He places in front of me, that’s success. On a personal level, success means providing for my family, raising my daughter to know and love the Lord, and staying rooted in my marriage and community.

In the business, success looks like seeing families walk away with peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are protected and their values are reflected in their plan. Some of the most meaningful moments for me have been praying with clients, celebrating God’s healing, or helping a family with special needs find financial stability. Those moments remind me that the work is bigger than me—it’s kingdom work.

Ultimately, success is being able to look back and say I was faithful with what God entrusted to me, and that I used my work to serve others and honor Him.
