Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott Marcus.
Scott, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I moved to Texas looking for warmer weather and to be closer to my family. With over 28 years of experience working with pets, I’ve truly done a little bit of everything in the animal care world. My journey started when I was just 13 years old, working at a pet store. From that very first job, I fell in love with working with animals and continued doing so all through high school.
After graduating, I spent about six years working as a veterinary technician, where I gained hands-on experience in animal health and wellness. My passion for grooming soon led me to attend one of the best grooming schools in the country, where I earned my dog grooming certification. I went on to manage a grooming salon for about eight years before deciding to take the next big step — moving to Texas and purchasing Every Dog’s Day.
In addition to grooming, I am also a certified dog trainer. At home, I have two Cane Corsos — Siren, my spoiled girl, and Deimos, my daddy’s boy. They love treats, coming to work with me, and helping make our clients feel welcome!
When I purchased Every Dog’s Day, my vision was simple: to continue giving clients and their pets the absolute highest quality of care while making our facility feel like a second home. I believe a pet resort should feel like a vacation for your dog — a place where they can socialize, play, and get all the pets and cuddles their hearts desire. Mental stimulation and exercise are crucial for every dog, and I wanted to create a safe, secure, and clean environment where owners can feel completely at ease.
Every Dog’s Day is staffed 24 hours a day, ensuring someone is always there to check on your pets. Living in Texas means hot summers, so we’ve designed some of the most shaded outdoor yards around — complete with sprinklers, misters, and pools to keep pups cool. When the weather isn’t ideal, our indoor play areas give dogs a safe space to run and play.
We offer five different room sizes for boarding, from cozy 24-square-foot spaces to massive 260-square-foot suites — some even bigger than the average bedroom! Whether you’re at work or away on vacation, I want you to have peace of mind knowing your dog is loved, cared for, and having just as much fun as you are.
One day, I hope to open another location and continue growing our community of happy, healthy pets. But for now, I’m proud to provide a place where dogs can thrive, play, and feel at home — because every dog deserves their best day, every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Luckily I had some great teachers along the way. Plus my father has been a huge help to me. He owned a business for many years and without his knowledge I would have been lost. Also feedback from pet parents has helped to see things that people may want added to the facility.

We specialize in 24-hour staffed boarding where playtime is always included—no extra charges. Whether your pup is a social butterfly or prefers their own space, we have the perfect setup. Dogs from the same family can even stay together (room size permitting). With 5 different room sizes—from cozy 25 sq. ft. suites to spacious 260 sq. ft. rooms—every guest gets a comfy raised cot or even a full or twin-sized bed. Fresh water is always available, whether they’re romping in play or relaxing in their room.
Doggy Daycare
Need care while you’re at work or just want your dog to have some fun? Our daycare is the place to be! We’ve got indoor and outdoor play areas with shade, misters, splash pools, and plenty of play equipment to keep the fun rolling. It’s the perfect spot for socialization, exercise, and making new furry friends.
Grooming Services
Our certified groomers are known for their skill and patience. From breed-specific cuts to shed-less baths, nail trims, and more, we make sure every grooming experience is as stress-free as possible. Your pet’s comfort comes first, and we pride ourselves on making them look—and feel—amazing.
Positive Dog Training
We believe training should build confidence and trust. Our positive reinforcement programs help with everyday challenges like leash pulling, jumping, potty training, chewing, and more. We’ll work with you and your dog to create good habits that last.

How do you think about happiness?
Everything pets makes me happy. Definitely the looks on their faces. The way they greet me. The clients and seeing how much they care for their pets. Watching these babies enjoying their best life. Knowing that we are such a big part of it.

- Boarding starts at 49.95 a night with a free night stay for new customers staying more then 1 night
- Daycare has a variety of options from Half day to full day with special packages that do not expire but offer some amazing discounts. We also offer a free daycare evaluation day for new customers with 5 free daycare days once they pass the evaluation
- Grooming is some of the lowest prices in the area. We also offer 50% off your pets first groom or bath
- Training we offer a free training evaluation and offer different training options and packages
