Newborn Advantage was born from the perfect blend of my personal journey through infertility and my professional background in business. After facing the emotional and physical challenges of In Vitro Fertilization firsthand, I felt deeply compelled to support others navigating the same path. Blending compassion with professionalism, Newborn Advantage Surrogacy was born in 2005.
It has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to watch the company grow and serve clients globally while staying true to its core mission—never losing sight of the sensitivity, care, and emotional depth required during such a profound and often overwhelming journey.
As the business grew, I brought my daughter Courtney into the critical fold transforming Newborn Advantage Surrogacy into a mother-daughter venture rooted in trust, empathy, and shared vision. Together, we’ve nurtured the company with warmth and integrity, creating not only a successful brand but a legacy of support for families navigating the delicate and hopeful process of bringing new life into the world.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Building a business in the surrogacy industry requires far more than contracts, processes, and marketing—it requires navigating a landscape charged with emotions, ethics, and deeply personal journeys.
One of the first challenges lies in finding the sweet spot in marketing. Unlike traditional businesses, surrogacy cannot be marketed with broad strokes. It’s not about catchy slogans or quick conversions; it’s about reaching intended parents who may be at their most vulnerable, and surrogates who are searching for the right agency to trust with their bodies and hearts. Striking the balance between compassion and professionalism, hope and realism, is a daily exercise.
Then comes the work of developing pipelines of referrals. In an industry built on trust, the best connections don’t come from ad campaigns—they come from relationships. Referrals from intended parents, surrogates, and even medical professionals are not simply leads; they are stories, journeys, and acts of faith. Building these pipelines takes years of consistent care, transparency, and delivering on promises.
Getting the message out that there is hope is another hurdle. Too often, people come into this space after years of heartbreak, carrying scars from failed treatments or broken trust.
