Daily Inspiration: Meet Dillon Springfield

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dillon Springfield.

Hi Dillon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up learning the construction trade from my dad, Keith Springfield, who’s built metal buildings and poured concrete since 1994. Starting at the age of 15, I worked alongside him during summers and school breaks, absorbing the craft hands-on. After graduating from Springtown High School in 2015, I pursued a business management degree at Texas Tech, continuing to work for my dad between semesters. After graduating from Tech in 2019, I returned home and dove into the field full-time, handling both concrete work and building metal buildings. A few years later, my dad entrusted me with leading my own projects under his company. Now, I oversee jobs, meet with clients, and ensure every project is completed on time with uncompromising structural integrity.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Every job is unique in it’s own way. Some jobs are complicated and take a lot of precise evaluation. There have been a lot of learning moments for me in my young career that have been stressful, but in hindsight, I greatly appreciate each lesson learned.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in metal buildings and concrete. We do everything ourselves from moving the dirt, pouring the concrete and making sure that the foundation laid is as solid as they can be. The erection of the building is done with precise and thorough consideration.

I am most proud of our ability to deliver projects swiftly without sacrificing quality. Customers often praise our fast turnaround: while it may take a few weeks to break ground, once we start, we complete most jobs within six weeks, working all hands on deck.

What sets us apart: We don’t subcontract—our team of skilled laborers does it all. This keeps our pricing fair and transparent, with no excessive markups, ensuring clients get top value and quality.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
As a kid, I was all about sports. Football and track filled my days, and I earned the District 5-4A Offensive Player of the Year title in 2014 in football. In 2015, I won gold in the 110M hurdles and took silver in the 300M hurdles at the state level in track. Those experiences taught me discipline and teamwork, qualities I bring to every construction project today.
