Today we’d like to introduce you to Dezere.
Hi Dezere, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey into chiropractic began long before I officially chose it as a career. I grew up in a holistic household. I was surrounded by natural approaches to healing and inspired by the quiet wisdom of the women in my family who taught me the importance of listening to the body and honoring its rhythms. That early influence planted the seed for the kind of care I wanted to offer one day. I eventually went on to study at Parker University in Dallas, where I deepened my knowledge and found my calling in chiropractic care. I began working in chiropractic clinics, but I quickly realized how intimidating and impersonal those environments could feel. Patients were often rushed, and I felt the heart of healing was missing. That realization became the heart of Moonhouse Chiropractic. So i created a nurturing space where individuals can heal and reconnect with their authentic selves through the art of chiropractic in a place that feels like home.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting Moonhouse Family Chiropractic meant taking a giant leap of faith, and there were many moments filled with uncertainty. As a first gen business owner, I had to learn everything at once such as how to run a practice, how to reach people, and how to trust that my vision would resonate. There were times I questioned myself, especially when progress felt slow or when the weight of responsibility felt heavy. Balancing the heart of being a caregiver with the realities of business ownership has been one of my biggest challenges. They just don’t teach you this stuff in chiropractic school.
But those struggles were just resistance. These stressful moments pushed me to slow down, lean into my values, and stay true to the kind of care I believe in. Every obstacle reminded me why I started, to create a safe, restorative space where people feel deeply cared for. The road hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a bilingual chiropractor who owns Moonhouse Family Chiropractic in the North Fort Worth area, specifically Haslet, TX.
I help people gently reconnect with the natural rhythms of their bodies through nervous-system-focused chiropractic care. Each session is rooted in open communication, consent, and respect, so the experience feels restorative rather than overwhelming. My role is to listen closely, offer support, and create the space for the body’s innate wisdom and healing to naturally shine through.
What sets Moonhouse Chiropractic apart is the way we honor the unique rhythms of each person. Our care is gentle and trauma-informed, always centered on creating safety and ease so the body’s innate wisdom can express itself fully. Every session is shaped by open communication and a deep honoring of your needs, allowing your body to move and heal at its own natural pace. Patients often share that their experience feels calm, grounding, and unlike any care they’ve received before and that is exactly the kind of space I dreamed Moonhouse would be.
I want people to know that Moonhouse Chiropractic was born from a dream of creating a sanctuary. A healing space where you can truly exhale, let go, and return home to yourself. Our care is gentle and nurturing, designed to quiet the noise in your nervous system and help restore your body’s inner knowing. Every detail is carried out with intention, listening deeply, shaping care with honesty, and honoring the unique journey of each person who walks through our doors.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite memories is sitting on the front porch with my grandpa, watching the rain fall. It became our quiet ritual. There was no need for words, no distractions, just the sound of the rain and the comfort of being together. What may seem simple or ordinary to others taught me the beauty of slowing down and noticing life’s small moments.
