Today we’d like to introduce you to Alfredo Garcia.
Hi Alfredo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
So my name is Alfredo Garcia and I started my business when I was about I would say when I was 19 years old, I had the idea of always wanting to start my business and I ended up working at a window Tint Shop and they trained me how to do window tint and after learning for a couple months of age just being still very new at window tint I started doing it in my parents garage and from there we just started getting a lot of customers through Instagram and after about like four months of being consistent in my parents garage I ended up opening a 1000 square-foot shop and after my first year being there, I ended up renting my second shop, which is right next to it so now we’re currently in the 2000 square-foot shop and we do a lot of window tint Commercial Window Tint in residential window Tint and also providing customers with mobile services to their home and since then we’re currently moving up little by little and are looking for a brand new shop at this moment
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would say I had a lot of learning experiences I had experiences as far as me breaking a windshield my first time at my parents house and even breaking small little things for customers cars on accidents I would say two big struggles that I had was one of my employees messed up a job and that job cost me a lot of money, but it was a learning experience and also taking on some pretty big projects without learning The ins and outs of it
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I would say I specialize a lot in being very perfectionist at my work that I do as far as Window Tint and I tend to learn different types of careers pretty quick as far as Window Tint in any other entrepreneurship business and something that I really proud of is my drive is really big and they always Motivates me to go bigger and to keep going and one thing I would say that says me apart to a lot of different business owners as I am currently a senior at a university getting close to graduating with my bachelors in business and I feel like a lot of business owners don’t have degrees and I always wanted to have one to put me apart from other owners
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
my advice to a lot of people would be learning as much as you can in the Window Tint industry, and also trying to learn different things around the same career as far as Window Tint like vehicle wraps PPF it’s always good to keep learning different things if you’re currently working at a shop This will benefit you because you’ll be good at every different thing that you add to your shop

- I would say a typical 10 job from starting out in the garage would be anywhere from 150 to 300 for a full Tint job
