Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Dumas.
Angie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started out as a food blogger who wrote strictly reviews for restaurants. To become a food blogger/influencer who reviews everything from food to household products. I am also a recipe developer who creates recipes for brands. Brands send me products to test and write about. I am building a brand of my own from food to fashion and faith. I also incorporate fashion in some of my post via Instagram and my blog. I love what I do and my goal is to influence others wherever I go, whether it’s what they eat, wear or speak!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, my journey has been filled with ups and downs. Working hard pays off, but it doesn’t mean you won’t hit bumps in the road.
My advice would be to press on even when times get tough. Even if one door closes, believe that two others will open instead.

I am a food writer, influencer, recipe developer and product reviewer. I try to publish work that shows my passion, my personality and that will help advertise the good of whatever company or brand I am working with.
Who have you been inspired by?
I love Pioneer Woman, to see she started out just like me. Sunny is a huge inspiration to the food world. She shows that hard work pays off and that different is good. I also love Rachel Ray, she has amazing recipes and creative ideas. Joyce Meyers though, more on a spiritual side she helps feed my soul. My mom is a true inspiration and always will be.
