Today we’d like to introduce you to Elettra Farah.
Elettra, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Makeup has always been a passion of mine. Everything about it is art. I went to college and studied legal studies. For about 6 years, I was a paralegal to great attorneys. In 2017, I had a beautiful baby boy. This forced me to quit my job and dedicate my time to raising my little one. Having a career has always been important to me. Since I do not work, I decided to start doing makeup and share my talent with anyone who will give me the opportunity.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. I do not know many people here in Dallas/Fort Worth. So, it has been a little hard trying to get my name out there. If I can give other women advice, it would be to stay patient, everything happens in its own time.
We’d love to hear more about Funfiercefabmakeup .
I specialize in makeup. I can do simplistic hair, but my passion is makeup. I make an awesome eyeliner wing, that’s for sure. Mainly, I just want my client, and myself to have FUN doing makeup, while looking FIRECE and feeling FABULOUS!
We’re interested to hear your thoughts on female leadership – in particular, what do you feel are the biggest barriers or obstacles?
There is so much competition out there. Everyone wants to be the “next big thing”… I hope, people will see the passion I have for this industry and that is what would attract them my way.
