Meet Benita Sharpe, a dynamic individual hailing from the vibrant Chicagoland area of Illinois. With over 30 years of leadership experience at a Fortune 50 company, Benita has cultivated a successful career while nurturing her entrepreneurial spirit. Over 25 years ago, she embarked on a journey of launching a thriving home-based business, seamlessly blending her professional expertise with her innate desire to serve others.
In 2021, Benita answered a spiritual calling by becoming a licensed minister, embodying the essence of a servant leader with unwavering determination and commitment. Through her ministry, she serves as a beacon of inspiration, offering guidance and support to individuals as they navigate life’s challenges with grace and faith.
Armed with an Executive Leadership and Professional Coaching Certification, Benita is a transformational and developmental strategist at heart. Her passion lies in empowering individuals to unlock their full potential by combining the power of transformational insight with a strategic approach to skill development.
Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Development and Certification in Transformational Leadership at the University of Texas at Dallas, Benita continues to expand her expertise and knowledge in the field. Outside of her professional endeavors, she finds joy in travel, immersing herself in a good book, and cherishing moments with her husband, Artise, adult daughter Samara, and cherished family and friends.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been smooth. But honestly—do you know anyone whose life has been perfectly easy? Of course not.
Life brings challenges. It stirs up self-doubt, invites self-sabotage, and sometimes places people in your path who throw up roadblocks simply because you don’t fit their mold.
I’ve been that square peg in a world full of round holes. Too bold. Too deep. Too much.
And for a time, the world didn’t know what to do with me.
But here’s the truth: being “too much” was never the problem. It was the invitation. The call to rise, to lead, to transform—and to help others do the same.

The qualities most essential to my coaching success are deep empathy, strategic clarity, active listening, presence, and an unwavering commitment to growth and vision.
