Hi Phoebe, Zahira, Kelly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hot Girl Stride started with three friends — Zahira, Phoebe, and Kelly — who all discovered a love for running around the same time. At first, it was just us showing up with music, strollers, and the mindset that miles didn’t have to be serious. Running quickly became more than just exercise — it gave us confidence, strength, and a sense of joy we hadn’t expected.
From there, Hot Girl Stride was born. We wanted to create a space where women could come together, feel empowered, and enjoy running without pressure — no matter their pace or experience. Now, we host themed runs across DFW, welcome all paces, and even co-ed participants, while keeping women’s empowerment at the core. The best part is watching our community cheer each other on, laugh mid-run, and leave feeling stronger than they came — that’s what Hot Girl Stride is all about.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t always been smooth — building something from scratch rarely is! One of the biggest challenges is balancing Hot Girl Stride with our full lives. We’re all full-time moms, some of us wives, some have jobs, and we all have personal responsibilities outside the club. Despite that, we still make time to show up and create a community that truly understands the juggle.
That’s part of why we love the Pretty Pacers so much — they get it. They understand that life is busy, but showing up, supporting each other, and enjoying the miles together is what matters. Those challenges have only made Hot Girl Stride stronger, more adaptable, and more rooted in the kind of supportive, empowering space we wanted to create from the start.

Hot Girl Stride is an all-women’s run club that welcomes everyone—beginners, experienced runners, moms, non-moms—anyone who wants to have fun and feel good while moving their body. Our focus is on making running approachable, playful, and pressure-free, with a cute, girly vibe that keeps things lighthearted and enjoyable.
What sets us apart is our dedication to community and empowerment. We celebrate women, recognize moms, and add small, personalized touches that make every run special—like writing inspirational messages in chalk on the trails or offering free snacks, water, and juice at every meet-up. We truly listen to our members, include their suggestions, and create a space where everyone feels welcomed and supported.
We’re incredibly proud of how fast our community is growing! We’ve landed exciting collaborations and sponsorships, launched our first fully customized merch line, and have so many big plans ahead for our club. At the heart of Hot Girl Stride is a simple goal: to make running fun, accessible, and a space where women can connect, celebrate each other, and just enjoy the miles together.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, we’re so excited for everything coming up with Hot Girl Stride! We’ve recently shifted to running once a month, which makes it more manageable for us as moms while still keeping the energy and fun alive. We have some awesome events planned, including collaborations and community celebrations, and we’re expanding our partnerships with local cafes, juice bars, and other spots to make each run feel extra special—BLOOM is actually a dream sponsorship we hope to bring on board in the future!
We’re also planning new merch, fresh “Hot Girl” routes, and weekday morning walks designed just for moms—a space for them to connect, share, and support each other. We love the way Hot Girl Stride is growing and can’t wait to share more of these victories with our community. Every new idea is about creating more fun, more connection, and more ways for everyone to feel celebrated while moving together.
