Hi Ahmad, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The Story of Ahmad Garcia – Emerging Black Excellence in American Business
Ahmad Garcia was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland — a community known for producing some of the nation’s most accomplished Black professionals and leaders. Growing up, he witnessed both the promise of opportunity and the weight of challenges facing Black men in America. While others followed safer paths, Ahmad carried a different fire. From an early age, he envisioned himself as an entrepreneur, someone who would not just survive the system, but change it.
In his mid-20s, he made the bold move to Texas — not just to start fresh, but to build something bigger than himself. Dallas became his proving ground. The transition was anything but easy. He faced financial struggles, isolation, and moments where it would have been easier to quit. But each setback became fuel. He refused to be just another name lost in statistics.
Instead, Ahmad built his own lane. He launched DigiNote LLC, a company that started with notary and real estate services but quickly evolved into a vision much greater: a financial and technological powerhouse designed to protect, grow, and empower investments for businesses and individuals. At its core, DigiNote was not just about profit — it was about creating a blueprint for Black-owned excellence in industries where representation has been scarce.
His journey wasn’t smooth. He’s faced losing jobs, rebuilding from scratch, and fighting to keep momentum alive when resources were scarce. But Ahmad learned early on that entrepreneurship is not about avoiding failure — it’s about mastering the art of rising after every fall. Where others saw roadblocks, he saw training grounds.
Now, Ahmad stands as a voice of a new generation of Black entrepreneurs — one that refuses to let America forget the brilliance, resilience, and innovation born from our communities. His vision is global: to scale DigiNote LLC into one of the most respected asset management and fintech security firms in the nation, with roots that stretch from the streets of Prince George’s County to the skyscrapers of Dallas.
Ahmad’s story is one of courage, legacy, and leadership. It is a reminder that Black excellence is not gone — it’s emerging in new forms, with louder voices and stronger impact. He doesn’t just want to be another successful businessman. He wants to redefine what success means for those who look like him, creating a future where opportunity isn’t just talked about — it’s built.
When asked what drives him, Ahmad keeps it simple:
“I didn’t come this far just to make a living. I came to build something that will outlive me.”
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, Not a smooth road at all much criticism was faced. Many hiccups in the road and barriers to break when you are counted against so much.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a Online/Mobile Notary based here in the DFW Metroplex. I have always been interested in business and have always wanted to own my own business and to get into real estate, trust, and family wills. I feel like this is the best entry point into this field. I am hungry and very persistent when it comes to getting what I want. I was rebranded by IBM @ the start of July after just starting the company and that rebrand has carried me to today where I start my company DigiNote. I am proud of the wholesome connections we still have with our partners and friends of the company and will continue to uphold those relationships.

Keep believing in yourself and thriving within yourself. Keep your circle close. It is okay to get help from your family if that is all you have.
