AviNika Jewelry is born from four decades of artistic heritage of Nika’s family (crafting art and gifts from precious metals) in Ukraine and Avi’s vision for the future of men’s luxury jewelry. Avi has been surrounded by the most brilliant of business visionaries his whole life. He graduated from TCU, one of the top business programs in the world. We met in Dallas, TX, on Valentine’s Day. From then on, we knew we were meant to create a legacy together.
The inception of AviNika Jewelry was deeply personal. While searching for a distinctive wedding ring for Avi, we identified a significant gap: men’s jewelry lacked the bespoke artistry and profound meaning we were looking for.
Drawing upon Nika’s rich family art heritage and fueled by Avi’s revolutionary vision to redefine men’s jewelry, we set out on a mission: to give every man a special feeling of owning a piece that is unique to his legacy and love story. Nika’s creativity, management and technical skills and Avi’s business acumen and unique perspective propelled the brand to where it is today.
The day we finished that first ring, we knew we had set a new bar for ourselves: uncompromising artistry for men who simply refuse to settle. This commitment to telling your personal story is the heart of every piece we create. When we design, we look to incredible global art history. You’ll find influences from the intricate patterns of ancient Greek meanders, the extravagant scrolls straight out of the Palace of Versailles, and the delicate artistry you see at the Taj Mahal. These timeless, symbolic designs take gold and rare gemstones and turn them into a piece of art you can wear that tells the world that your story is worthy of an heirloom.

Avi and Nika created original designs that have got attention of millions of people online, while many others reached out to us on Instagram and WhatsApp to commission a piece to celebrate their story.
With Avi’s support, Nika quit her cushiony IT job to pursue the business full time believing it was time for us to create a legacy of our own. Most days Nika is busy with anything from sharing our designs and their inspiration online to creating e-commerce websites from scratch. Avi’s expertise in operation strategy and supply management are crucial for the business’s growth. Powered on by Avi’s undying devotion to the vision, we have worked tirelessly day and night to build the foundation of the jewelry brand men of status and legacy deserve.
We are currently busy preparing for a big launch in the luxury market, tapping into the audience of wealthiest individuals shopping for unique and exotic items, such as cars, watches and estates, in duPont Registry.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We initially struggled in the oversaturated women’s bridal market, which quickly validated our decision to focus on the unique men’s luxury niche. A major challenge was gaining trust without a physical storefront. We counter this by treating clients with exceptional care and providing total transparency. We provide authentications for the diamonds from the worlds most renown labs (IGI/GIA), and, crucially, we create detailed 3d model designs so clients see every detail of their piece before it’s forged and feel confident in their purchase.
Finally, competing with established brands that have multi-million-dollar budgets is tough. Our lack of substantial funding (aka only having invested $5k into the building and advertising) means we operate on lower margins and pour countless personal hours into every commission and inquiry. This struggle, however, is our secret weapon: this level of devotion ensures every client receives the most personal service and the item they receive exceeds all their expectations.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Avi excelled in consulting, working with Fortune 500 businesses to bring multimillion dollar operational transformations. While accomplished, he felt driven to create a bigger, personal impact, starting by challenging the status quo that men deserve just an ordinary wedding band.
Their passion for architecture provides the revolutionary design inspiration for every piece, having traveled to the most beautiful locations in the world.
Nika, having worked as a Software Engineer, while also writing poetry and creating art throughout her life, now brings an essential creativity as well as detail-oriented, structural approach to our business. Her background guarantees that Avi’s vision is translated into pieces with sparkly execution. From creating the designs to translating customer’s vision from paper to gold – we care about every detail. We love to involve the client into the creative process to ensure they feel like they co-created their precocious piece with us.
We are most proud of our dedication to personal narrative. We don’t sell pieces off a shelf; we partner with clients to tell their unique story. While we come from different backgrounds – Indore and Kharkiv cities, our paths feel like intertwined to bring our shared vision of the future to life. We are a couple with and vision. With undying dedication and ambition, we love working together on anything related to AviNika Jewelry, treating the business as our child, needing constant attention, love and discipline.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Avi:
My favorite memories are definitely tied to my family. I was fortunate to be raised in a very loving home, and those everyday moments are what I cherish most: from playing cricket with my dad in the yard and going on family vacations to most beautiful places, to simply sitting with my grandma and enjoying her home-cooked meals and having endless conversations with my parents.
However, the most prominent memory, both frightening and loving, is my mom teaching me and pulling all-nighters with me before my exams. That experience wasn’t just about studying; it was about her incredible devotion, which really shaped who I am today.
Nika:
My favorite childhood memory inspires me to this day. Perhaps, I was about 12-year-old, hanging out with neighborhood kids after school while my mom was at work (raising me on her own in the big city). Having discovered some kittens thrown out on the side of the street in a bag, I have gathered many of the neighborhood kids, from 6- to 12-year-olds to clean up a corner of an abandoned stadium park to make a home for the kittens. Having gotten garden and cleaning tools from my house, I gave them out to the kids and led them to clean a large area covered by trash and fallen branches. In the midst of all of us working hard, I felt proud of all of us – for doing something so selfless. Looking back, I am surprised I was able to inspire so many kids to abandon their toys and play for cleaning and gardening tools, not a pretty and a laboring activity.
