Exploring Life & Business with Janetta Olaseni of P.OP Holistic Practice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Janetta Olaseni.

Hi Janetta, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began at the intersection of faith, service, and purpose. I’m a Registered Nurse, Certified Case Manager, and Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner who turned pain into purpose after walking through some of the hardest seasons of my life including surviving breast cancer, losing loved ones, and learning to find my voice again.

Before founding POP Total Wellness and POP Holistic, (“POP” stands for Prospering On Purpose ) my husband and I built Hands of Compassion Home Care, Inc., a nationally accredited home health agency that began in a three-bedroom rent house and grew to a multi-room facility with over 50 employees, including nurses and contracted physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as medical social workers. We proudly served the West Texas community for over a decade, providing compassionate care to the elderly and differently-abled population. In 2018, we transitioned ownership and it still operates today as a legacy business that continues to impact lives.

That experience laid the foundation for everything I do now. After witnessing firsthand how stress, imbalance, and burnout affect the body and spirit, I knew I was called to bridge faith and wellness. Today, through POP Holistic Practice , I help faith-driven women restore balance and wholeness through biblical principles, holistic health, and practical wellness routines.

What started as a personal healing journey has grown into a movement a community where women are learning to prosper on purpose in every area of life: spirit, mind, body, relationships, and finances. Together with my husband, we also co-lead Evident Faith Ministries, mentoring believers to walk boldly in their divine assignments while building generational wellness and wealth.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, but every challenge has been a classroom where God strengthened my faith and refined my purpose.

In the early years of building our home health agency, we faced countless obstacles limited resources, staffing challenges, long nights, and the constant balancing act between business, ministry, and motherhood. As a wife and mother of four sons, I often felt stretched thin, but my family became both my “why” and my training ground for grace and resilience. We learned how to lead through prayer, perseverance, and people-centered care.

Later in my journey, I faced one of my greatest personal battles: a breast cancer diagnosis. That season tested every area of my life spirit, mind, and body but it also birthed a deeper calling. POP was born out of that pain. I realized that true healing must go beyond medicine; it must reach the heart, the spirit, and our mindset.

Even now, one of my biggest challenges is helping women slow down and commit to lifestyle change. We live in a microwave generation everyone wants instant results, but transformation requires process, patience, and partnership with God. Healing is not a quick fix; it’s a faith walk. I often remind my clients that just because progress isn’t visible does not mean God is not working. Sometimes the delay is the development.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about P.OP Holistic Practice ?
P.O.P. Holistic Practice was birthed out of intentionality a desire to help women prosper on purpose in every area of life. Our motto, “Prevention is Cure,” reflects our mission to empower people to take charge of their health before crisis forces them to.

As a Registered Nurse, Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, and Certified Case Manager, I’ve blended over two decades of healthcare experience with biblical principles to help women restore balance naturally. At P.O.P. Holistic Practice, we provide individualized wellness plans, faith-based coaching, and holistic tools that support physical, emotional, spiritual, healing.

What sets us apart is our integrative approach. We don’t just focus on symptoms we focus on the root. We help clients uncover how stress, emotions, and lifestyle choices affect their health. Whether it’s improving gut health, strengthening immunity, managing inflammation, or restoring energy, our work is centered on wholeness and stewardship honoring the body as God’s temple.

I’m most proud that our practice is more than a tele-practice it’s a community. Through our POP Circle Membership, Restored & Renewed Course, and Wellness Club partnerships, we’re helping women of faith create sustainable habits that lead to lifelong health and generational wealth.

At P.O.P. Holistic Practice, we don’t believe in quick fixes we believe in transformation. My prayer is that every client leaves feeling seen, equipped, and empowered to prosper on purpose.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is living a life that leaves evidence that faith works, that healing is possible, and that purpose can prosper through pain.

My greatest fulfillment comes from seeing individuals encounter God in the middle of their wellness journey when they realize that He cares about their spirit, mind, and body. Whether I’m mentoring women through the POP Circle, coaching a client through lifestyle changes, or simply encouraging someone who feels forgotten, my mission is to remind them that they are never too broken to be restored.

Legacy also matters deeply to me. As a wife, mother of four sons, and co-leader of Evident Faith Ministries, I want my life to be a reflection of wholeness, stewardship, and intentionality. I want my family and every person I reach to know that obedience to God’s call will always lead to abundance, peace, and purpose.

At the end of the day, it’s not about titles or achievements. It’s about impact. What matters most is using every gift I’ve been given to help others rise, heal, and prosper on purpose.
