Today we’d like to introduce you to Amelia Danner.
Hi Amelia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have a couple of businesses. I have had a tax firm for about 30 years, it always kept me busy, not really a passion, about 12 years ago I realized I am a fixer and peace maker, helping in disputes and with communication. I suddenly found my knack as a mediator and now also an Arbitrator. I realized how much the Spanish speaking public and the lower income folk were not represented or under represented. I felt a calling to spread out and help with mediation and Arbitration made affordable and accessible.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One huge road block for my group is many Texas Judges decline to use non-attorney mediators for courts cases, even though we are put through the same training and required continued education, the Delilah with this is , we mediators both non attorney and attorney, are forbidden to practice law in mediation, it is a stigma that needs to be overcome, that is not allowing non-attorney mediators.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Saucedo and Danner Mediation &Arbitration. PLLC ?
