Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
StretchLab in Murphy Texas is a one on one assisted stretching company. We provide stretches using certified flexologists who each have a background or advanced training in Kinesiology. Our location has been around since January 2022 and we have grown to over 200 dedicated members using our sevices.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Our studio has grown over time since January 2022. I would definitely call it a smoother road than some other businesses but we have had our struggles not only with a post-Covid world but also in getting the knowledge and awareness about how stretching is beneficial for increasing your range of motion, helping with flexibility, decreasing stress, improving posture and providing better sleep quality.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At StretchLab in Murphy we provide one on one assisted stretching to help with your body’s range of motion and flexibility. We use professionals who are certified Flexologists all with backgrounds in kinesiology so they are very familiar with the body. We provide a high level of expertise and care with our clients by focusing on their specific issues and by also ensuring that we focus on their particular needs. We offer introductory sessions so that clients can try us out and we have our professional Flexologists make recommendations that are most helpful.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Listening to customers and learning about assisted stretching’s benefits has been important but most importantly our need to be patient not only with our business but with client’s as well. Each client is an individual here so it is important to learn their needs and how we can assist them in the most productive way possible.
