Hi Brittney, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my hair care business in the summer of 2020 after noticing how dry and brittle my hair had become. That sparked my curiosity, and I began exploring DIY hair care recipes on YouTube. As I started making my own products, I saw real changes—my hair became softer, healthier, and more manageable.
At first, I was just creating products for myself. But the more I researched ingredients and experimented with formulas, the more I fell in love with the process. I remember telling myself, “Brittney, there may be other hair care brands out there—but no one can do it like you.”
Every product I make is handmade, hand-poured, and crafted with love and intention. After taking a short break, I’m back with even better formulas—and I’m so excited to share them with you.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t been smooth, but every challenge has shaped We Grow & We Glow LLC. From perfecting natural, handmade formulas to building a brand on a tight budget, there were moments of doubt and slow progress. But each obstacle reinforced my mission: creating products that help people embrace their natural glow, inside and out.

I love the city’s energy and creativity — there’s always something happening, and the community of small business owners and creatives is inspiring. Traffic and navigating certain areas can be frustrating, but the city’s opportunities and vibrant vibe make it all worth it.
