Inspiring Conversations with Jaime Chambron of Career Agility System

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaime Chambron.

Jaime Chambron

Jaime, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Native Floridian from Largo. Mathlete. Orator. Co-Valedictorian. Passion for improving education. Guest White House speaker before commencing Computer Science studies at Harvard.

And then – Be legendary. That was the mantra of my first job out of college, Scient, which recruited heavily from Harvard.

I relocated to Dallas from San Francisco during the Internet bust period. Met my soon-to-be lifelong partner days before 9/11 on Match.com (our first date was 9/15). Served in many different roles outside the office early on in my career, including President of the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce, co-founding the GREAT MINDS girls in STEM program for the up-and-coming Alliance of Technology and Women, and co-founding RE:D Magazine!

Fast forward to now. Tech exec turned full-time entrepreneur after retiring from Act 1 in 2021. Today, I write, speak, and coach others on their careers and on how to become an entrepreneur. I specialize in career transitions & advancement, personal branding (think resumes), LinkedIn, and monetizing one’s expertise to become a solopreneur. One of the photos is of me recently delivering a presentation on Claiming Your Worth at Fearless Dallas. I am also an exec coach for the recently developed Tech CxO Excellence program at SMU.

We have a 9th-grade son at the Science Engineering Magnet (SEM) at Townview, and another son wrapping up middle school at Dealey International Academy. I currently serve as SEM’s PTSA as Secretary and am seeking more young ladies to apply!

I am naturally a connector and community builder, always seeking ways to bring people together, foster deep relationships, and make an impact where I can. I did a lot of that while serving in different roles at Mockingbird Elementary for seven years. There is actually an award and a plaque now at MES in honor of what my partner, Kevin Buehler, and I did to encourage involvement and connection, which has been given to families year after year since we left.

Besides coaching, spending time with my Buehler boys, and school engagement, I am involved in many other social and community activities. This includes being seen at Hillside Tavern most Tuesdays for trivia as part of Team Skibidi Rizz, being a member of the Young Men’s Service League of Oak Cliff, participating in Woodrow Athletic Booster functions with my student-athlete, and running my own Ladies Wine Club of East Dallas. Oh, and Mahj, you can’t forget Mahj! And while my other half is a member of the Dallas Bourbon and Rye Society (DRBS), the wives of DRBS members also get to attend events from time to time, such as the annual Derby party. And I can’t forget my routine workouts at F45!

Last picture – full circle moment recently – I was invited back to ATW’s GREAT MINDS program to share my journey in STEM & entrepreneurship.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Making time for and juggling it all. Prioritizing the right opportunities and relationships. Knowing who needs my assistance and gifts the most and focusing there.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
