Hi Susana and Lizbeth, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Desthetician Room was born from a dream shared by two best friends, two single moms with one vision: to create a life of purpose, independence, and success through helping others feel their best.
Before opening our spa, we were both pursuing nursing school. But life had other plans.We had to pause our studies yet we never gave up on our passion for care and healing. That same desire to help others led us to the world of esthetics where we discovered a new way to nurture and uplift people.
We took a leap of faith, earned our esthetician licenses, and invested our savings into what would become Desthetician Room a space built on love, dedication, and the belief that dreams are worth fighting for.
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple yet powerful: to serve with heart.
What truly sets us apart is the passion behind every service the warmth, sincerity, and genuine care we pour into every client who walks through our doors.
Desthetician Room isn’t just a room or space it’s a reminder that the biggest dreams can become reality, and that there are no limits to the desires of your heart when you believe, work hard, and lead with love.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been an easy road, but it’s been one filled with purpose, growth, and a lot of heart. My business partner who’s also my best friend and I started this journey right after graduating as estheticians. We were full of dreams but had no idea where to start. We didn’t know if we should work for someone else or take the risk and build something of our own.
Deep down, we both wanted freedom to create a space where clients could feel cared for, confident, and understood. So we took a leap of faith. We started searching for a small room to rent, something simple but meaningful where we could begin. That was the first of many challenges.
We had to learn everything from scratch how to manage a business, market our services, organize finances, and keep up with continuing education. There were times it felt overwhelming, especially when money was tight or when things didn’t go as planned. But through it all, we pushed each other to keep going.
Every obstacle taught us something: patience, resilience, and the importance of believing in ourselves even when no one else could see the vision. What started as two best friends with a dream has become something so much bigger a space built with love, growth, and dedication.

We are two best friends and licensed estheticians who decided to turn our passion for skincare into something meaningful a space where people can feel confident and cared for in their own skin. Our business focuses on personalized skincare services with a strong specialization in acne treatment and corrective facials. We’ve helped many clients transform not only their skin but also their self-esteem by educating them about the root causes of acne and guiding them toward sustainable, healthy routines.
What sets us apart is our genuine connection with each client. We take time to understand their lifestyle, habits, and goals to create results-driven treatments that are tailored just for them. Our approach goes beyond the surface we focus on education, consistency, and self-care as the foundation for long-term skin health.
But our spa isn’t only about results it’s also a place to relax, rejuvenate and renew. From the moment clients walk in, we want them to feel at peace, to take a break from their busy lives, and leave feeling refreshed both inside and out.
Brand-wise, we’re most proud of the trust we’ve built in our community. As a small business, every success story and every smile means the world to us. What’s next?
Looking ahead, my vision is to continue growing both as an esthetician and as a business owner. My partner and I have come a long way from where we started, and now we’re focused on expanding our spa and introducing more advanced skin treatments that combine results with relaxation.
Education has always been a big part of our journey, so one of my future goals is to mentor and guide new estheticians who are just starting out to help them avoid some of the struggles we faced and give them the confidence to build something of their own.
We’re also planning to invest in new technology, add more specialized services, and eventually open a larger space that truly reflects our growth and passion for skincare.
More than anything, I’m excited for what’s ahead. What began as a small dream between two best friends has turned into something meaningful, and the best part is we’re just getting started.
