Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaci Applegate.
Hi Kaci, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always loved newborn photography, capturing all those precious moments of a new bundle of joy, just has my heart. At first, I wasn’t too sure, but I had a wonderful friend that introduced me to it, I assisted her with some newborns and fell in love with it. I started my journey back in 2017 and have been capturing them ever since. I just feel like I have a calling for it, since I’ve never bam able to have a baby if my own, I get to snuggle with hundreds of them yearly.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not every baby is the same as I tell my clients. Some are wonderful and some are a little harder than others. There are times that we have to take breaks for feedings, snuggles with mommy, and some just don’t like certain poses. So we improvise with different poses or even swaddling.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer, I specialize in newborn and families; but I often do weddings, some seniors, cake smashes and even births.
