Today we’d like to introduce you to Diego & Valerie Villanueva.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
On the weekends, I would sometimes work at wedding venues in an off-duty capacity. While working at these venues, I would see how much fun people had at the Photo Booth. The laughs, the entertainment, etc. So, of course, I began to research and did some digging. During my free time, I would listen to podcasts relating to the Photo Booth industry. It was then that things started to feel right, and I decided that I should move forward with it. I just had one more thing to do, and that was to convince my wife, Valerie. She thought I was crazy at first. We have 3 children, both working full-time jobs, so why add more craziness to our lives? She eventually gave in, and we went on to purchase our first photo booth. We studied it, practiced over and over until we felt comfortable offering it. From that point forward, we did anything and everything to try to get our name out there, from the website, open houses, subscription to The Knot, networking, signing up with the chamber of commerce, and that’s when things really began taking off.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Although our journey has been exciting and fulfilling, we have had our fair share of struggles. We dedicated time to learn certain aspects of running a business while balancing home with our kids and our work life. Another challenge came as we expanded and realized we could not be at each event. We soon realized we had to expand our team! Our two main attendants, Sophia and Araceli, have helped out tremendously, and we are lucky to have them.

Lavish Photo Booth LLC is a Dallas-Fort Worth-based business that provides photo booth rental services for Corporate & Social Events. We offer a variety of photo booths, including Selfie Booths, Roamers, and Glam Booths. We also offer Flower Walls, Shimmer Walls, and a beautiful Wood Wall. Our newest addition is our custom photo magnets through our sister company, Lavish Keepsakes.
We offer both Digital-Sharing and Printing Stations with our photo booths. We tailor our services to each event and make sure our clients have everything they need for a successful event! Our Selfie Photo Booth is our most popular as a Digital Drop-Off. Clients love the ease of the Selfie Booth and know their guests will have so much fun. Our Glam Booth is the perfect option for Instant Prints! The DSLR camera provides high-quality photos and the back screen is perfect for branding. Our Roaming Photo Booth is ideal for larger events, with our skilled attendant capturing every moment of excitement as they move through the crowd.
