Meet Chase Francis of Denton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chase Francis.

Hi Chase, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m Chase Francis, founder of CFGROOVE — a one-man digital agency based in Denton, Texas. I started this journey back in 2022 with one goal in mind: to elevate local businesses through high-converting websites with sharp, strategic design.

Before CFGROOVE, I was deep in the creative world — design, music, branding — you name it. But I saw a gap. Small business owners were either overpaying for underwhelming work or trying to DIY their digital presence and struggling to get real results. I stepped in to offer an alternative — personal service, fast execution, and clear results.

My process is built around speed and strategy. Discovery calls, clear scopes, clean execution — all tied together with a direct, personal client experience. I’ve built sites that have tripled traffic, boosted leads, and helped business owners finally feel proud to send someone to their site.

At CFGROOVE, I wear every hat: designer, developer, strategist, communicator. That allows me to move fast, stay flexible, and deliver serious value without the red tape of a big agency. And that’s why clients come back.

Groove in. Results out. That’s the mission.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I launched CFGROOVE, I wasn’t walking into a system — I was building one from scratch. No blueprint, no agency safety net — just me, my skills, and the drive to figure it out as I went.

One of the biggest struggles early on was learning how to sell. I had the creative and technical chops, but translating that into value a client understands? That took time. I had to shift from just being a designer to becoming a problem-solver — asking better questions, qualifying leads, and learning how to guide clients toward results-driven decisions without sounding salesy.

Another challenge was time management. Running every part of the business solo — from outreach to onboarding to execution and support — forces you to get real tight on systems. Every client touchpoint had to be streamlined. I built checklists, automated reports, and refined a repeatable process that saves me and the client time, without losing the personal touch.

There were months where leads were slow, or projects stalled, or I doubted if this path was sustainable. But the wins kept coming — small ones at first, then bigger. And every setback helped refine the way CFGROOVE operates today: fast, clear, and focused on ROI for the client.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At CFGROOVE, I help small businesses go from offbeat to on-brand by building websites that don’t just look good — they work. I specialize in high-converting web design, strategic development, on-page SEO, and ongoing support to make sure my clients aren’t just online — they’re outperforming.

It’s just me running the show — no fluff, no account managers, no agency overhead. That means clients get rapid communication, tight execution, and real strategy from start to finish. I move fast and I speak plain — no tech jargon, just clear direction and results.

I’m most proud of two things. First, my son — nothing compares. He’s my real why behind all of this. Second, the current client work in motion. I’ve got projects on deck for Northgate Construction, Spinal Decompression & Chiropractic Center, and Justin Martin Custom Homes — each one represents a different industry but the same mission: take what’s scattered, outdated, or underperforming and turn it into a polished, conversion-focused experience that builds trust and brings in business.

What sets CFGROOVE apart is the speed, the clarity, and the care. I’m not trying to stack 100 clients — I’m focused on doing deep, high-impact work with a select few who want to win online.

Groove in. Results out.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I grew up out in West Texas, in a small town called Slaton. Some of my earliest memories are bouncing around on a trampoline and tearing through dirt roads in a go-kart, lungs full of dust but grinning from ear to ear. Life was simple, and I carry that grounded energy with me to this day. I spent over a decade on the road playing drums with Texas country artists like Dalton Domino and Mike Ryan — chasing that dream, staying up late, living that wild tour life. But when I became a dad, everything shifted. I stepped off the stage and started building CFGROOVE — a one-man web design agency built to elevate local businesses through strategic, high-performing websites.

It’s not just pixels and plugins — I help small businesses grow with modern digital tools that actually work. No fluff. No corporate runaround. Just results.
