Hi CRYSTAL, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
started as a stay-at-home mom during the pandemic, running a small craft business out of our garage. My husband was working at a Fortune 500 company while I was at home juggling everything — customer service, production, packaging, and even dropping off orders myself. It was a lot. I loved creating, but I was exhausted trying to do everything alone.
What made it harder was knowing I had the vision to grow but not the resources or access to the marketing tools I needed. I’d try every free automation tool I could find — when it worked, it worked; when it didn’t, it was a headache. My husband kept saying, “You’ve got to find a way to automate this, or you’re going to burn yourself out.” At the time, I didn’t even understand what automation really meant.
Fast forward a few years, and automation became the very thing I built my business around. I was introduced to a platform called Go High Level — and instantly fell in love. It was everything I needed in one place. Not long after, they opened the opportunity to launch my own agency. When I started sharing what I’d built with my crafting community, they became my first ten clients. From there, the CRM began to grow itself — word of mouth, real results, and community trust. So, based on our clients’ needs, we expanded — hiring both U.S.-based support and an incredible team from the Philippines. That global collaboration helped us scale with excellence and heart. As the company grew, I began teaching what I’d learned. I launched online cohorts — eight-week intensives showing small business owners how to turn their products into recurring monthly revenue. We called it the First 5K Program. The first class had 30 students. The second grew to 50. By the fourth cohort, we had over 100 enroll from all across the country — and many saw their first $5K months in business.
Now, what started as survival has become a movement — helping entrepreneurs build systems, scale on purpose, and walk by faith.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all — but it’s been worth it. We started as a husband-and-wife team just trying to figure it out from the garage. While my husband worked for a Fortune 500 company, he was also the visionary who kept reminding me, “You’ve got to find a way to automate this or you’re going to burn yourself out.” He saw something in me long before I saw it in myself. And he gave me space to create.
There were nights we’d be up late — me pressing shirts and managing orders, him encouraging me not to give up. We didn’t have funding, a team, or fancy tools — just faith, a laptop, and a vision that felt bigger than both of us.
The road definitely had its bumps. Some of the biggest struggles came as we started scaling. Many of our clients came from the East Coast, so we had to learn to navigate state laws and requirements that varied from place to place. Then came the reality of churn — something every SaaS company faces. When clients don’t use the system, they cancel. That was a major wake-up call. We had to shift from just selling software to serving clients through education, engagement, and accountability.
And one of the hardest but most freeing lessons? You can’t serve everyone. We had to stop trying to be everything to everybody and focus on what we were truly called to do — helping small business owners systemize and scale through automation.
It hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been purposeful. Every obstacle pushed us to build better systems, stronger faith, and a deeper commitment to the people we serve. What started as a home-based hustle turned into a movement.
