Community Highlights: Meet Geanie Asante of Amerio Technology

Today we’d like to introduce you to Geanie Asante.

Hi Geanie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of people and possibility. My career started in engineering and leadership, helping organizations build systems that make life easier. A few yesrs ago, I began exploring how
artificial intelligence could actually improve our lives instead of harm. That’s how Heart-Centered AI was born. It became my framework for using technology with empathy, curiosity, and compassion. Eventually, that message turned into my TEDx talk, where I shared how opening to vulnerability can revolutionize both human and artificial intelligence.

Today, I run Amerio, an AI consulting company that helps small businesses and teams integrate AI with intention, and I founded the AI Growth Lab, a community that teaches everyday people how to use AI to save time, scale income, and amplify their ideas.

My journey has been about turning pain into purpose and using technology as a bridge back to humanity. I want people to see that AI isn’t replacing us, it’s revealing what makes us irreplaceable.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not. The road has had its share of challenges, but each one taught me something valuable about resilience, reinvention, and purpose.

When I stepped into the AI and technology space, I quickly learned that innovation isn’t always an open door especially as a woman of color. I’ve walked into rooms where I was underestimated or the only one who looked like me. Early on, that was intimidating. But over time, it fueled me. I learned how to take up space, speak with confidence, and lead with both credibility and compassion.

There were seasons of burnout, career pivots, and a lot of self-doubt in between. But every challenge helped refine my mission to make technology more human, inclusive, and accessible. Those experiences shaped me into who I am today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Amerio Technology ?
At its heart, my work is about helping people see what’s possible with AI not just technically, but personally. I’m the founder of Amerio, a human-centered AI consulting and education company, and through my personal brand, Dr. Geanie, I’ve become known for bridging two worlds that rarely meet: technology and humanity.

I specialize in making artificial intelligence simple, soulful, and strategic. Whether I’m teaching Fortune 500 teams, small-business owners, or curious beginners, my goal is the same, to show people how to use AI to reclaim their time, spark new ideas, and scale what they love doing most.

What sets Amerio apart is our belief that technology should serve the heart, not replace it. We combine AI strategy and automation with empathy-driven design, helping clients streamline their workflows while staying true to their voice and values.

I’m most proud of the growing community around our programs like AI Growth Lab, From Prompt to Profit™, and Vibe Coding™. These spaces have become more than trainings, they’re movements. I’ve watched people go from feeling overwhelmed by AI to confidently building new income streams, launching products, and re-imagining what work looks like in this new era.

For me, that’s the real success story, not just teaching the latest tools, but empowering people to thrive with them.

If there’s one thing I want readers to know about my brand, it’s this: AI is not the enemy of humanity. It’s an opportunity to express it. My mission is to help people use this technology to work smarter, live freer, and lead with both innovation and heart.

How do you think about happiness?
What Makes Me Happy

What really makes me happy is watching people come alive that spark in their eyes when something finally makes sense or when they realize, “Wait, I can actually do this.” Whether it’s teaching someone how to use AI in their business or helping them rediscover their creativity, I love those breakthrough moments where confidence replaces doubt.

I’m happiest when I’m creating, whether that’s designing a new program, writing, or brainstorming ideas that help others grow. There’s something deeply fulfilling about turning imagination into something that empowers people.

Outside of work, happiness for me is simple: quiet mornings with tea and music, long talks with my dogs, laughter with my family and friends, and time spent reflecting or journaling. I’ve learned that peace doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from doing what aligns with your heart.

For me, happiness is a mix of purpose, freedom, and connection, building things that matter while staying grounded in gratitude and love.
