Cedric, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am the founder and creator of Dallas Video Services (Dream Media, LLC), a premier video production company proudly serving the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Known for my cinematic eye and innovative approach to visual storytelling, I currently lead a team dedicated to producing high-quality, impactful video content for brands, businesses, artists, and organizations across the region.
My modest journey began with a dream: to create powerful, memorable visuals for my own music. That passion opened the door to a larger creative calling. After finishing college at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, I pursued that dream to its fullest, interning with some of the nation’s largest and most respected production companies—including Warner Bros., CBS, and others.
While I initially set out to learn the technical craft of film making, what I gained was far greater: firsthand experience in professional set culture, creative collaboration, storytelling structure, and the business of production at the highest level. Those experiences shaped my mindset and fueled my confidence to build something of my own.
Returning to Dallas, I founded Dallas Video Services (Dream Media, LLC) with a mission to bring big-studio quality and storytelling excellence to my community. Since then, the company has grown into a trusted production partner known for its authentic storytelling, sharp visuals, and reliable project execution.
A proud Dallas native, I believe in telling real stories—ones that reflect culture, personality, and purpose. My work has allowed businesses to elevate their brand presence, artists to define their image, and organizations to inspire their audiences through visual media.
Beyond the camera, I am passionate about mentorship and creative empowerment, frequently collaborating with up-and-coming filmmakers and helping new talent find confidence and opportunity in the media industry.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced the same challenges many independent creators do—limited resources, tough competition, and the constant pressure to prove myself in an industry where who you know can seem just as important as what you can do. There were times I questioned the path, times projects didn’t go the way I hoped, and times when progress felt slow. But through every obstacle, I leaned on resilience, faith, and the belief that my purpose was bigger than the moment. I chose to let those challenges shape me, not stop me. They pushed me to grow, to work harder, and to elevate not only my own vision, but the quality and care I bring to every project I touch.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I feel the quality I believe has been most important to my success is my persistence. I don’t give up easily. In this industry, talent matters — but consistency matters even more. There have been times when the resources weren’t there, when projects fell through, or when the path forward just wasn’t clear. What kept me moving was my willingness to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep pushing to get better. That persistence is what allowed me to grow from shooting for myself, to interning on major sets, to building my own company. I’ve learned that when you stay committed to your vision long enough, opportunities eventually catch up to the work you’ve invested in.
