Exploring Life & Business with Jess Pierson of Jess Pierson, Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jess Pierson.

Jess, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I didn’t begin my career in real estate. For six years, I worked for Marriott, learning the heart of hospitality — how to create a sense of welcome, how to listen, and how to show up for people. But when the pandemic hit, everything shifted. I lost my sales job, and suddenly I was standing at a crossroads. I could wait for life to return to “normal,” or I could step into something new.

I chose to move forward.

I realized the part of hospitality I loved most was helping people feel at home. So I leaned into that calling and stepped into real estate. The skills I’d built — service, communication, attention to detail — translated seamlessly. I earned my GRI and ABR designations, continued to learn and grow, and built a business rooted in support, transparency, and care.

Over time, I started a real estate team, poured into it, led it, and was proud of what we created together. When the season shifted, I sold the team and stepped into a new chapter with clarity about how I wanted to serve.

Today, I have the privilege of teaching first-time homebuyer classes, helping people feel empowered and confident in their decisions. And one of my favorite parts of this journey is getting to work alongside my husband Chase, who is a lender with Supreme Lending — so together, we get to guide clients as a united team, offering both sides of support with trust and heart.

We’re raising our two beautiful children in the same community I get to serve — a place filled with connection, belonging, and people who truly look out for one another. I am grateful every day to be a part of it.

What began as a moment of loss became a doorway into purpose.
Real estate isn’t just my career — it’s where I feel at home.
And I am honored to help others find that feeling too.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey wasn’t easy. I started my business after losing my sales job during the pandemic, with no guarantees and a constantly shifting market to learn in. I had to build my name from the ground up, navigate seasons where the market moved faster than anyone could predict, start and eventually sell a team, and balance growing a business while raising two kids and working alongside my husband. Every challenge stretched me, taught me, and shaped the way I show up for my clients today.

We’ve been impressed with Jess Pierson, Realtor, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is centered on education, guidance, and genuine care. I work with first-time homebuyers as well as buyers and sellers who are simply moving into a new phase of life and a new chapter of their story. I teach homebuyer classes, walk clients through each step with clarity, and make sure they always feel confident in their decisions. I specialize in communication and attention to detail, taking the time to understand each client’s goals and protect their best interests throughout the process. What sets my brand apart is the focus on trust, service, and community. My goal is always to make the experience feel supportive, transparent, and personal, no matter where someone is in their homeownership journey.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I guide buyers and sellers through every stage of life — whether it’s a first home, an upgrade, downsizing, or investing — helping them confidently navigate their next chapter. I specialize in creating personalized, stress-free experiences. One of my favorite parts of this work is meeting new people, touring homes, exploring neighborhoods, and discovering the perfect fit for each client. I love adding personal touches, from thoughtful closing gifts to helping clients feel truly at home in their new space. Working side by side with my husband, a lender, allows us to provide a seamless experience that covers every step of the journey. I’m proud to be deeply rooted in my community, helping families and individuals find not just a house, but a place to grow, create memories, and embrace the next chapter of their lives.
