Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashton Flowers.
Hi Ashton, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started singing at 8 years old but was always scared to show my voice to others. I started making music in high school because a close friend convinced me to challenge myself to see if i could do it and i never stopped since. Going on almost 5 years i’ve been singing and making music.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey this road is taking me on has been very smooth for the most part I’d say the only struggles i have often is writers block and being patient to get to where i wanna be with it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I make R&B music its what i do best, I try to rap often but R&B is definitely my specialty in music and its what im mostly known for. Im proud of every new song i see myself make i rarely disappoint myself and that keeps me going harder and harder, I’m also proud of my drive to keep going and not letting the thought of giving up consume me thats what sets me apart form others my drive in wanting success and no one really wants to make R&B music anymore, wanna bring it back!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The fact that my personality matches my style and the music make i feel like it gives me no choice but to deliver a sound straight from the soul and let people hear what i really gotta say and it helps me let other people relate to me, I feel like thats very important and gonna play a big role in my journey down this path!
