Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Brackens.
Hi Rhonda , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was the founder of JAZZ FUSION Body of Christ. It was the first time trying to create the vision I had in mind. Things didn’t turn out as well as I hoped for so I challenged my self in other areas of the arts being inspired by people who I have came into contact with. That was always the mission of JAZZ Fusion. A Fusion of talents of different people working together for a common purpose. To enrich God’s Kingdom and have fun living your dream but giving it all to him! After my mom passed this season of my life became the most challenging time I’ve experienced towards my character. I was harassed out my apartments, bullied on the job ready to leave from it all my mother died and I could feel the earth mourn for her. It was times I felt the pressure explode in my head and my husband and I left North Dallas and went to my mom house in OakCliff. As I tried to recover from the abuse it seemed as if more came from it. I failed to land a job that could of got me back into dancing, my heart kept longing for love in all directions, the streets were coming for me, jobs wanted to showcase my talent for dirt cheap. Feeling betrayed on all sides. It seemed like trouble followed me and other people wanted to kick me out! There was times where I wanted to believe that people wanted to help me but I started having trust issues because of the thin walls, recordings of me, medical field wanting money and not helping me, parkland basically kipnapped me, well behavioral trying to take my organs, the churches didn’t want anything to do with me. I couldn’t focus on everything that was going on in my surroundings and felt as if God kept coming for me to leave. This lady intervened and said read the book of Daniel and that when I started waking up again! Good days and bad days came I wanted a new face so I created creatingmiracles5 as my new focus my new plan to showcase God’s unchanging hand. Same mission to bring people to God and borrow strength from my mother Jacqueline Colman (Cloeman) Boyce to encourage myself in the Lord because no one else was getting through to me! My writings became my priorities, dancing was still my legacy, and my marriage and my relationships began struggling to keep up with. Christmas is coming up. It seems everyone who has hurt me gotten away with something, my desire to have kids still haven’t left but it’s around the Sametime every year I’m wishing for one. My husband and I don’t know what to even do at this point. I put my trust in God and I’m leaving it there! The message of love is still there. From Love Found at the Door. Wishing for Mr. Jim Carrey to play Pen Pal and dedicate this book this story to my mother! In Jesus name we pray Amen!
