Hi Nicci, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hey there! We are Benny and Sons, a family-owned custom furniture and upholstery business since 1994. Our founding father “Benny” started crafting furniture in the mid 90s with little more than a small space and a vision. In 2015 His son Luis took over the reins, rebranding and revamping as Benny and Sons. While making sure to uphold our traditions and standards, the family craft evolved. Fast forward ten years and we’ve cultivated a brand that people can trust, and our reputation speaks for itself. Along with our amazing staff we have continued to grow, working in the most beautiful homes and businesses in the DFW and beyond. We are truly blessed to be a household name.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The adventure of being self-employed has been such a blessing and taught us many Invaluable lessons. Figuring out how to problem solve on your feet is definitely a skill we picked up on this journey. Having the ability to construct something that is entirely your own is an amazing feeling. Also, the freedom to be creative, help clients and designers bring their vision to life, and make people more comfortable in their own spaces is something that we can always be proud of.
