Today we’d like to introduce you to Keni White.
Hi Keni, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My began through dance for me. I started dancing at the age of three years old and it catapulted me into a journey of creation. A world where creation had no ceiling. On days where I wasn’t able to dance I transmuted that energy in other ways. Whether it was parody music videos, therapy, my thoughts on pop culture, or content that reflected my journey, I want to relate to those who are seeking self growth and a positivity in a time where nothing is certain. It inspires a different type of motivation.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The path has certainly not been seamless, but I believe that anything truly worth pursuing is rarely a ‘smooth’ journey. Inevitably, there are hurdles to overcome. One of the primary challenges has been solidifying my identity and defining how I want to be represented within the creative space. While I have a strong sense of self, the challenge is pinpointing those specific parts of me that will allow me to establish a meaningful connection with my audience.. Self-awareness is crucial, as a lack of clarity in your identity complicates the discovery of interests and, more importantly, the ability to genuinely relate to others.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Outside of my creative pursuits, I switch gears and work in Client Management. This is where I get to change hats and ensure client experiences are top-tier. My specialization includes process improvement, team development, and the ability to conceptualize and execute program visions from start to finish, expertly managing complex milestones while adapting to shifting priorities.
But what truly sets me apart is my professional approach: a combination of professionalism and adaptability. I pride myself on my clarity in communication (the enunciation of my thoughts and ideas) and my fearless drive—the willingness to push myself, even in the face of potential failure. That continuous drive is something I carry into every single area of my life.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I recently released my first book, “Ctrl + Alt + Delete That Draft: Creating 101.” It’s a fun, interactive social media guide specifically for beginner creators looking for a fresh start. We’ve built in targeted goals throughout the guide to help keep readers accountable and make sure they crush their creative milestones. It comes at a price of $11.11 and can be purchased through the Beacons link in my social media bios. Plus, it’s from the perspective of someone that isn’t going to feed you bull crap.
