I started doing lashes out of my home while working full time in the corporate office of a major airline. I had just gone through a divorce and was trying to rebuild as a newly single mom. To help supplement my income, I began taking clients in the evenings after work. When 2020 hit and I was laid off, I decided to take a leap of faith and go all in. By 2021, I was doing lashes and permanent makeup full time and had moved into a small room in a salon.
Now, I’m the owner of The Glam Room in Midlothian, TX, offering UV lash extensions, ombré brows, spray tans, makeup, and more. I’ve grown my brand from a side hustle to a bold, elevated beauty space that empowers women to feel confident, seen, and cared for. I’m still a full-time mom, still hustling—but my goal is clear: create stability for my son and build a business that reflects the grit and glamor I’ve had to embody to get here. The Glam Room isn’t just a beauty studio—it’s the proof that starting over can be beautiful.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve had to figure out a lot on my own—especially as a single mom trying to balance raising my son, building a business, and healing from the past. There were moments I wasn’t sure if I’d make rent, times I barely had clients, and seasons where self-doubt almost won. Learning how to market myself, handle cancellations, juggle finances, and stay consistent without a team was overwhelming. But every setback taught me something. I’ve had to grow, pivot, and keep pushing forward, even when things felt impossible.

I specialize in creating personalized beauty looks that enhance natural features while providing an empowering, relaxed experience for every client.
What sets my brand apart is the vibe—we’re unfiltered, unmatched, and all about bold glam. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter beauty. I focus on helping hardworking women feel confident, seen, and taken care of, without the pressure of perfection. My space is designed to feel like a mix of best friend and boss energy: chill, luxe, and full of good energy.
I’m most proud of how far The Glam Room has come—from doing lashes out of my home to now collaborating with a med spa and growing a loyal client base. Every service is backed by high standards, education, and a true love for this industry. Whether it’s a natural glow-up or a full glam transformation, I make sure my clients leave feeling powerful.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising? I’m lowkey shy and awkward in real life. People always think I’m super confident because of how I carry myself at work or on socials, but I’m really just winging it 90% of the time—with lashes in one hand and caffeine in the other. I’ve had full glam on top and sweats on the bottom more times than I can count. I’m a lash boss with a soft heart, a smart mouth, and snacks in every bag.
But at the end of the day, I just love making women feel pretty and put back together—especially the ones who never get a break. It’s more than lashes. It’s giving them a moment to feel like them again.
