Inspiring Conversations with Trycele DeVon of Pretty Flawless Lash Co. is my lash business & Pretty Warriors In Christ is my non-profit out reach organization.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trycele DeVon.

Hi Trycele, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I came into business as a single mom being a survivor of Domestic Violence life had pushed me to think outside of the box as far as careers go. I have school aged children so I needed to be more hands on and to be present. It was tough to just trust anybody and I wanted the freedom of be able to control my own work schedule. I was in the insurance industry and decided it was time to take a leap of faith. I was interested in the beauty industry specifically lashes so I looked into getting my license. I attended a local beauty school and noticed the need for having more women who actually advocate and support each other without all of the drama and cattiness. I am a firm believer in Christ and love to encourage and uplift women and their natural beauty from all walks of life. So in May of 2024 I launched Pretty Flawless Lash Co. it is my baby and I take pride in it as my desire to make sure I leave a lasting impression that we as women are beautiful just the way we are but I am only here to enhance and make them feel appreciated during their experience with us. I truly annoying meeting so many women on different walks of life and it’s rewarding enough just to see their excitement about the results from getting their lashes done. It has been a journey starting up the business definitely a lot of highs and lows but getting started is the hardest part. You have to keep pushing through because it does get better. Now to the present I have been in business for a little over a year and also have a non-profit organization that assists women along their healing journey from past domestic violence situations. I just truly believe I would like to be who I needed when I was getting started in business and in life! I truly believe that its never too late to start over or to just start period!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting off is the hardest I believe because in a business whether you are licensed or certified in your field no one tells you the amount of money you invest will supersede the return of your investment. You will figure that out on your own if you don’t not have guidance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Pretty Flawless Lash Co. is my lash business & Pretty Warriors In Christ is my non-profit out reach organization. ?
I am a licensed lash artist that has created Pretty Flawless Lash Co to be able to not just provide for my family but to be able to provide affordability with luxury benefits of having lash extensions and other services. What sets me apart from others is my passion to truly give my clients the experience of luxury without having to break the bank. I make it my intention to get to know my clients are valued by PFLC for not just investing into our brand but into themselves as well. It’s a win win!

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I am a believer in no risk no reward because how would we ever discover what we are capable of doing remaining in the same position. In order to achieve any goal you have to step out side of your comfort zone and that requires you to take a risk. I say if you are experiencing fear about taking a risk do it anyway because you’ll realize that it was worth it. Had I never taken a risk I would not be in the position I am in today.
