Inspiring Conversations with Bianca Yturralde of Mobile Point Acupuncture

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Yturralde.

Hi Bianca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was introduced to acupuncture through a dear family friend who was a chiropractor. I was using chiropractic care to help heal and move through some health challenges at that time. I was amazed at how well and quickly my body responded and I started to look more into the world of acupuncture and its herbal medicine. For me, it seemed like a far away medicine that would have to take me across the world but soon realized that there were many schools here in the States where one could study and train. I made a decision and had a 360 turn in career, my life unfolded synchronistically and I was able to return back to school full time to study this medicine. I left Texas and headed to my home state and started a Masters program in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After completing 4 years of study and clinicals, I went on to California to pursue a doctorate degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine and returned back to New Mexico. I received a job offer in Texas shortly after. After years of treating hundreds of patients, I wanted to make this medicine available to people who may not be able to travel to a clinic due to health reasons or schedule issues and I started Mobile Point Acupuncture. Many of my patients have been bed ridden and were not able to travel outside of their home or were looking for someone to come to their home due to work schedules. I love what I do and am always excited to share this medicine with individuals who have felt hopeless with their diagnosis and/or symptoms. Acupuncture has changed and continues to change my patients lives for the better and that is the best part of what I do.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I challenge in what I do is realizing how many people just don’t know about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are so many opportunities to educate on this medicine that it can at times feel overwhelming. I am grateful that each of my patients walk away becoming an advocate of acupuncture, telling friends and family about their positive and life changing experiences.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Mobile Point Acupuncture is my mobile practice. I travel to individuals who may not be able to drive to a clinic or practitioner due to health or a time constraint. I make my services available for anyone not wanting to travel to a clinic for whatever reason. What sets me apart is that I bring Traditional Chinese Medicine to your home, providing a familiar and safe place for you to receive treatments.

I specialize in chronic pain complaints, infertility and treat frequently mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression & various other symptoms.
