Hi Kaelyn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Baking has always been second nature to me. I grew up surrounded by strong, beautiful, driven men and women who expressed love through recipes passed down for many generations. Being one of the youngest grandchildren, I spent countless hours in warm kitchens, watching flour turn into magic — learning that food could bring people together, heal hearts, and create memories that lasted a lifetime.
Kaetered LLC was born from that spirit — to bring the nostalgia out again. To remind people of the grandmother’s kitchen that smelled of vanilla and pecans. To celebrate the joy that a homemade dessert can spark. Every treat from Kaetered is baked to reconnect people with those precious moments of love and family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been an easy journey as a small, independently owned bakery. It’s definitely not all rainbows and flowers, but every step has been worth the ride. I started Kaetered LLC with nothing but love, passion, and a heart full of recipes—measuring with the heart long before I mastered the craft. Baking became an outlet for me, especially during my transition from Georgia to Texas with my family, helping me stay grounded while everything around me was changing.
I never expected the magic that would come from experimenting in the kitchen, but the feedback from my supporters truly shaped my growth. Being open to constructive criticism helped me refine my craft and better serve my clientele. Countless hours using baking as a sense of familiarity and showing my gratitude to my supporters through my hard work.
Through it all, my foundation has stayed the same: God, my husband, my children, my family, and my friends. Their support is the reason Kaetered LLC continues to grow.

Kaetered LLC is a home-based bakery rooted in the Little Elm and greater DFW community. Specializing in handcrafted desserts — including cheesecakes, pound cakes, pies, cookies, and cinnamon rolls — Kaetered offers treats that are both customizable and made from the heart.
