Meet TINA LONG of Mansfield, Tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to TINA LONG.

Hi TINA, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Back in 2011, a friend asked me to officiate their wedding, and that’s when I discovered my passion: being a small but meaningful part of couples’ most special day.

Since then, I’ve officiated thousands of weddings and met some truly wonderful people, many of whom have become friends over the years.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anything worth doing will have bumps in the road. After spending my professional career as a Human Resources executive, thinking on my feet and quickly turning challenges into opportunities has translated well I to the wedding industry. Although Officiant is my title, I can often be found decorating, pinning boutonnières, leading rehearsals, preparing timelines, coordinating with coordinators and DJ’s.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Your officiant is one of the most important vendors you will have on your wedding day! With so many options, how do you decide?

You read reviews, go to websites and checked socials. But what differentiates one from another?

It’s their “secret”🤫

So what is my “secret”?
💥I ask lots of questions 🙋🏻‍♀️
💥I listen to my couples 👂
💥I craft each ceremony based on my couples wishes 🧞‍♂️

My philosophy is ceremonies should have a healthy mix of romance, humor and tradition – each of these elements come from getting to know my couples!

I’m friendly, approachable and personable. I welcome all couples regardless of their beliefs. Love is Love!

I encourage every couple to read my reviews. I have over 300 five 🌟reviews on WeddingWire & Google.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Be flexible, be prepared for the unknown! Be the couples biggest supporter and cheerleader, be their buffer if needed. Shield them from anything going on around them that does not bring joy to their day.
