Hi Alex, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I first got into photography and video while doing a summer job at an events hall in Mexico as a teenager. I was instantly hooked by everything audiovisual. When I moved to the United States I was able to learn more and train professionally what started as a hobby is now my business.
Today, it has become a family business run by my wife Victoria and me. Working together has opened even more doors for us, and people connect with our story as a family and that has made our work even more meaningful.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a perfect journey, and it’s far from a straight path. Every year brings new challenges, new lessons, and new reasons to grow. But with commitment, discipline, and consistency, I’ve kept moving forward transforming a simple hobby into the business we proudly run today, after more than 10 years of doing what we love we keep working everyday knowing that everything is for our family.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I do photography and videography for social events, specializing in quinceañeras and weddings. What makes me most proud are my years of experience and the fact that I continue to grow in this industry, constantly improving the quality of my work. What sets me apart is my commitment to customer service and my belief that every client has a unique story. There’s no formula or strict rule to follow my job is to understand what people want and transform it into something memorable.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something surprising that people might not know is that we truly enjoy working together. We spend a lot of time on the business, and of course, sometimes we might have different opinions but working with your spouse toward a common goal has brought us closer. We’ve both learned so much along the way, and today we complement each other perfectly.
