Hi Nicki, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Exquisite Events & Productions in January 2017, driven by a genuine love for all types of events—both private and public. What began as a passion for bringing people together quickly grew into a full-service venture as I immersed myself in every aspect of planning, production, and execution.
Over the years, I’ve taken on opportunities that challenged me, pushed my creativity, and allowed me to refine my craft. Each project taught me something new, and each client relationship helped shape the business into what it is today.
Now, Exquisite Events & Productions reflects not just my passion, but the experience, dedication, and vision built along the way. It’s been a journey of growth, resilience, and a deep love for creating unforgettable experiences.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve bootstrapped the company from day one with no loans and no investors, which meant every decision and every milestone rested on my shoulders. There was a lot of pride in growing that way, but it also came with real challenges.
The hardest moment came during the pandemic. We had just reached our five-year mark, finally moved into our new office, and were truly operating in the green for the first time. It felt like everything I had worked so hard to build was finally taking shape. And then, almost overnight, the events industry shut down.
It was heartbreaking and overwhelming trying to figure out how to keep the business afloat after investing so much of myself into it. There were days filled with uncertainty and nights spent trying to find solutions when none seemed to exist. But even in the hardest moments, I reminded myself why I started this journey in the first place.
Those struggles taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and a deeper appreciation for every step forward. They shaped not just the business, but also the way I lead it today, with even more empathy, intention, and gratitude.

Exquisite Events & Productions is built on the belief that every event—no matter the size, style, or purpose—deserves to feel one-of-a-kind. We don’t just plan weddings, nonprofit events, fashion shows, and music events. We do all of them, and one of the things that truly sets us apart is our ability to combine elements from each category to create fresh, unique, and unforgettable experiences. The creativity we use in a fashion show can inspire the energy of a wedding; the organization behind a nonprofit gala can elevate a music event. Blending these worlds allows us to design events that feel truly original.
We’re also proud to offer talent buying and celebrity booking services for private events. This allows our clients to elevate their celebrations in a way most companies can’t provide, giving them access to exclusive talent that makes their event stand out even more.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Our success wouldn’t be possible without the incredible people around us. First and foremost, our amazing staff truly care about our clients, going above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect and every experience is memorable. Their dedication, creativity, and passion are the backbone of everything we do.
We’re also so grateful for our amazing clients. Their trust, collaboration, and willingness to dream big with us have allowed Exquisite Events & Productions to grow in ways I never imagined. Many of our projects are only successful because our clients challenge us, inspire us, and let us bring our expertise to life in ways that exceed expectations.
Beyond our team and clients, I have been fortunate to have mentors, supporters, and cheerleaders who have played a huge role in my journey. From seasoned industry professionals who offered guidance during pivotal moments to friends and family who encouraged me to keep going when challenges felt overwhelming, their advice, support, and belief in me helped shape the business.
