Hi Savannah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey really began back in 2018, when I was a stay-at-home mom searching for my purpose outside of motherhood. I’ve always loved calligraphy and crafting, and found so much joy creating personalized pieces for my family and friends’ events. Their encouragement and honestly, God placing the right people in my life at the right time pushed me to take my gift seriously. What started as a hobby slowly grew into Vahn’s Creations, a brand built to bring people’s visions to life and inspire others through creativity. Every step since then has been about trusting my purpose and using my talent to uplift and celebrate others.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but every challenge has shaped me into who I am today. In the beginning, I struggled to balance being a stay-at-home mom while building a business from scratch. As my life evolved, that balancing act grew into managing a full-time 40-hour workweek, raising my growing children, and still pouring creativity into Vahn’s Creations.
What has empowered me most is learning to set boundaries, honor my own needs, and recognize that my personal well-being fuels everything I do. The obstacles taught me resilience, discipline, and the confidence to keep showing up for both my family and for myself. Each season has strengthened me and reminds me that I’m capable of far more than I ever imagined.

Vahn’s Creations specializes in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces. From custom event signage and holiday wreaths to personalized home decor and calligraphy art. I’ve been dedicated to calligraphy for years, and I love using beautiful lettering and thoughtful design to help bring my clients’ celebrations and spaces to life.
One of the moments I’m most proud of is having my work featured in a storefront at Painted Tree in Mansfield, TX. It was a HUGE milestone that reminded me how far my creativity has taken me.
What truly sets me apart is the intention behind every piece I create. I pour genuine love, care, and faith into my work, treating each project like a personal work of art. My goal is always to honor my God-given gifts while delivering something meaningful and memorable for every client.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The creative and crafting industry is evolving quickly, especially as more people look for personalized, handmade pieces that carry meaning. Over the next 5-10 years, I see an even bigger shift towards custom artistry, intimate workshops, and digital learning spaces where artists can share their skills with wider audiences.
For me, that means expanding beyond creating pieces to also teaching the art of calligraphy. I envision hosting hands-on classes and launching my own calligraphy workbooks and courses to help inspire the next generation of calligraphists.
There’s something special about passing down a Craft that has brought so much joy and purpose into my life, and I’m excited for the direction this industry is heading. Let’s just say… there are a few new things I’ll be unveiling soon!
