Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleasha Deering.
Hi Eleasha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I learned early that influence has nothing to do with titles. It is the weight of your presence, the integrity behind your decisions, and the way you show up for people when it matters. My foundation was built in the U.S. Army. My discipline and structure were strengthened through my degrees from the University of Alaska Anchorage and Dallas Baptist University, where I earned both my Bachelor of Science and my master’s in management.
Today I am the founder and CEO of Luxe Playbook Media and the host of Sideline Chat, a professional platform for coaches, trainers, and athletes. I have spent almost a decade as a luxury lifestyle influencer and nearly five years working closely with athletes including collegiate standouts and NFL champions. I have partnered with more than two hundred major brands nationally and globally, shaping stories that feel elevated and intentional.
My work with multiple NFLPA chapters, NFL Alumni groups, hospitals, and nonprofits has shown me how powerful it is when purpose and presence meet. Whether it is youth camps, community givebacks, or strategic events, I am committed to creating spaces where athletes and communities connect in real, impactful ways.
I am not just building content. I am building legacy. For me, luxury, influence, and service always belong together.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Working in a space that is driven primarily by men means I have had to consistently prove my expertise, my professionalism, and the value of the perspective I bring. Nothing has ever been handed to me. I have had to show up prepared, confident, and precise in rooms where women are rarely at the forefront.
Earning trust, especially in the sports world, required me to operate at a standard that left no room for doubt. I learned how to navigate personalities, expectations, and environments where people weren’t initially used to seeing a woman lead at this level. It pushed me to elevate my communication, sharpen my strategy, and stay grounded in who I am, even when it felt like the odds were stacked differently for me.
Those challenges never discouraged me. They built my resilience, strengthened my voice, and made me even more committed to creating pathways for others. Every obstacle became part of the foundation that supports the work I do now.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Luxe Playbook Media ?
What sets me apart is the way I started. Before I ever worked with athletes or stepped into executive level branding, I built my name from the ground up as a content creator. I learned every part of social media by doing it myself. I studied what connects with people, how audiences think, how to communicate with clarity, and how to create work that feels both elevated and approachable. That early experience taught me how to build trust, how to build consistency, and how to build a voice that people respond to.
My relationships with major brands began long before I ever entered the sports world. Working with more than two hundred national and global companies gave me a deep understanding of partnership etiquette, brand language, storytelling, and the importance of delivering excellence every single time. When I transitioned into working with athletes, I brought that entire foundation with me. It allowed me to guide them with more strategy, more precision, and more insight than someone who only operated behind the scenes.
Today I merge luxury presentation, athlete development, and media strategy in a way that reflects real understanding of both brand culture and audience behavior. I know what brands look for, I know what audiences respond to, and I know how to position athletes in ways that are polished, purposeful, and aligned with who they are on and off the field.
My early years prepared me to build relationships with integrity. My experience prepared me to elevate athletes with intention. My work now is the result of both, and that combination is what truly sets me apart.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is dressing up, creating little fashion shows, and hosting imaginary gatherings with my siblings and friends. I loved putting looks together, setting up the “event,” arranging the space, and making everyone feel like they were part of something special. At the time it felt like play, but it was the beginning of my love for creativity, fashion, presentation, and bringing people together.
I was also an active child who played sports, so my world naturally blended confidence, movement, and expression. When I look back, everything I am now grew from those early moments. The confidence to create, the eye for detail, the love for excellence, and the way I enjoy building experiences for people all started with a little girl who loved to dress up, organize, and imagine something bigger.
Those memories remind me that purpose reveals itself early. I am simply walking out the things that were already in me.
