What started out as me just trying to coach a basketball team turned into a whole unexpected life pivot. I was out here simply looking for a gym for my players to practice in that’s it, nothing fancy. Then I saw FWISD was hiring custodians. I figured, why not shoot my shot? I applied, got hired, and stepped away from my plumbing job so my team could have a place to grow. I had no idea that one decision was about to change my whole trajectory. Once I got in the building, the work pulled something out of me. I didn’t just mop floors I took pride in the space, took ownership, and before long I moved up to custodian supervisor. That promotion opened my eyes to the bigger picture: if I could lead here, I could build something of my own. I wanted more stability, more growth, and more impact. So my brothers and I locked in, brainstormed, and built something from the ground up: Turner’s Cleaning & Janitorial Services. A family-driven operation with old-school values, modern hustle, and a reputation for doing things the right way no shortcuts, no excuses. Funny how a simple search for a practice gym turned into a business legacy. That’s purpose sneaking up on you. That’s faith doing what faith does. That’s how Turner’s Cleaning & Janitorial was born out of teamwork, sacrifice, and a vision that kept expanding the more I walked into it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The struggles we had along the way was trying to find contracts, and making people believe in us that we can get the job done.Some contract was very picky and some was down to earth.But we persevered through it all and got the job done.

What started with me working as a custodian led to becoming a supervisor, and eventually building a family business that stands on quality, integrity, and respect.
