We recently had the chance to connect with Jennifer Daly and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
Every day, I walk with purpose. I know who I am and whose I am. That doesn’t mean everything is perfect or that I never feel lost or unsure; we all have those days, don’t we? But I’ve learned that my daily choices matter. I can choose to get up, work out, and take care of my body, or I can sleep in and later regret not doing something that moves me closer to my goals.
There was a time, especially in my twenties, when I was more in the “wondering” season. I kept expecting things to simply happen for me. But one day, while driving and reflecting on where my life was headed, I had a wake-up call; it was time to take action. That moment became a turning point that led me to pursue and earn my MBA, setting me firmly on the purposeful path I walk today.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jennifer Daly, founder of Cheering On Moms and CEO of Fierce Angels Fashion. Through Cheering On Moms, I serve as a speaker, goal coach, and three-time published author, helping women find clarity, confidence, and purpose in every season of life. And through Fierce Angels Fashion, I get to bring that same empowerment to life in a tangible way, curating clothing that reminds women they are bold, beautiful, and capable.
As a coach, I guide women through practical and personal goal-setting strategies that align with their values and help them move from feeling stuck to walking in purpose. Through Fierce Angels Fashion, I get to bring that same empowerment to life through unique, standout clothes, reminding women they are also unique and worthy of standing out in a crowd.
What makes both sides of my work unique is the heart behind it. It’s not just about success or style, it’s about transformation. Every coaching session and every collection is designed to inspire women to believe in themselves, pursue their dreams, and shine with confidence from the inside out.
Fierce Angels Fashion gives back each quarter to a nominated non-profit, reflecting our belief that fashion can be a force for good. For me, both personally and professionally, it’s important to not only inspire confidence but also create meaningful impact in the community.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When I was in high school, I was the head cheerleader and handed the microphone to lead our pep rallies. In that moment, I felt the weight and wonder of having a voice. It taught me that I not only have a voice but also a choice in how I use it to lead others. That experience shaped me; it was then that I decided that any influence God allows me to have, I will always use for good.
Life brings seasons of leadership and seasons of learning. In those quieter seasons, when we’re being led, we gain the wisdom and humility needed for the next opportunity to influence. Power is both a gift and a responsibility, and how we choose to use it defines the kind of leader we become.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
As a business owner in only my second year with Fierce Angels Fashion, I’ve faced my share of challenges. From months of very slow or even no sales, I’ve had to learn every part of my business from the ground up. It’s taken time, patience, and a lot of perseverance, especially in areas that aren’t naturally my strengths (email management, for one!).
Through coaching and intentional learning, I’ve grown not only as a business owner but as a leader. When my business expands and a larger team is in place, I’ll be able to guide and train others from real experience.
If Fierce Angels had taken off instantly, I wouldn’t have gained the deep understanding or resilience that now prepare me to sustain and support its future growth.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
As a goal coach, speaker, and business owner, I’m deeply committed to empowering women and helping them move forward on their life journey. My own transformation began when I learned to believe in myself again and gave myself permission to slow down and care for my own needs.
In today’s fast-paced world, women are often so busy caring for everyone else that we forget to care for ourselves, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. We stop dreaming. Our goals get pushed aside and become distant wishes instead of actionable plans for success.
It’s my mission to help women rediscover those dreams and turn them into reality. Whether it’s through one-on-one goal coaching, encouraging others as a speaker, or inspiring confidence through Fierce Angels Fashion, I’m committed to helping women feel seen, capable, and empowered, inside and out.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
I’d regret not giving Fierce Angels Fashion every ounce of effort it deserves. It’s more than a business to me; it’s a mission to uplift and inspire real women. If I didn’t keep pushing myself to grow it, I would feel like I held back on something that had the power to change lives.
Right now, I’m fully committed to learning and mastering every part of the business, from operations and marketing to customer experience and community impact. I’m constantly studying my customers, refining our processes, and challenging myself to think bigger. Growth doesn’t happen by accident, and I’m doing the work every day to make sure Fierce Angels continues to evolve, serve more women, and become the brand I know it can be.
