Hi SEEK, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Who are you learning from right now?
I’m learning from everyone. You can never stop learning unless you choose to out of ignorance. I learn from every situation and circumstance. I learn from everyone no matter who it is or their educational background. It’s all circumstantial.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is SEEK VALEUR but I am thinking about changing it in the future perhaps i’m kind of on the fence. I am an artist of visual mediums. My main medium is Fashion Design. I just finished my first collection and had two runway shows this year- Apocalypse for the University Of California Irvine and LES INCROYABLE in Dallas Texas. I am currently working on the next collection that will be shown September 2026 in New York. I work in sort of a theatrical fashion. I am inspired by my everyday life experiences and emotions. It’s been gloomy and drab at times.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I’ve never listened to what the world has told me what to be. That is not for the world to decide. I walk on my own two feet in a world that I have to live in everyday – Not everyone else.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me resilience and adaptability. I would have never got those two assets if it weren’t for suffering. It’s taught me how to maneuver through some of the hardest situations. I’ve learned it’s okay to feel through the somber and treacherous days. It’s what i’ve been used to most of my life.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
AI is not the answer to solve the world’s problems. Humans are so much more complex than an algorithm.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
I want people to interpret it how they naturally perceive it in their eyes. Everyone’s life paints its own picture and every medium or art is subjective. Including my life.
