Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Cee Tworek.
Hi Dani Cee, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A little over one year ago, I was sitting in a training workshop at work, when I was asked the questions, “Who are you? And what are you doing here?” The questions sound rather benign, like something one might ask an intruder. The truth is I was an intruder. I was inhabiting this body and it was controlling my mind. And I shook free of the spell–the one where I existed to please everyone around me. My life no longer made sense.
In March 2025, I parted ways with my employer, giving up my dream job and a six-figure salary in hopes of finding my identity and my purpose. Little did I know that the job market would implode. There is no back up plan–sink or swim.
Of course, everything happens for a reason. The searching, the fear, the pressing ever-forward were all part of the process.
Today, my experience has prepared me to ask women these same questions in the hope that they can find their true identity and lean into their purpose on this earth with a lot less drama and far faster results.
I am inviting every woman to step into her power as part of a movement. A movement designed to unravel society from the epidemic of loneliness, anxiety, depression, and burnout that has emerged from valuing the masculine over the feminine rather than in equal measure. With machines rapidly becoming greater than man, the only hope for all of humanity is for women to face their shadows, lean into their gifts and step boldly into their power.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been struggles every step of the way. As I mentioned, I left my job at a time when everyone started “playing” with AI–many quite haphazardly. This sent the job market spinning with fake job post, too many applicants, and the broken promise that hard work and a college degree would equate to long term financial security.
I pulled the rug right out from under myself.
In the past, I always leaned on freelance writing as a backup plan for income. Every writer I knew was unemployed and more losing their jobs by the minute. A machine had fully replaced my fallback plan.
Starting a business was the only way to survive and all the signs were pointing to yes, but the road was not going to be smooth.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Happy Life Agency?
If you recall, one of my biggest challenges in finding work was differentiation. I had been sold and lived the promise that hard work and a college degree would set me apart. With that truth dashed, I had to really get creative.
This hardship combined with my pursuit of my true identity and purpose led me to start The Happy Life Agency. The name is a spinoff of my podcast called The Happy Life Agenda–a platform dedicated to conversations and connections to empower women.
I call myself a Brand Identity Coach. I coach women through identity work related to their professional lives and career pursuits (but of course, there is always cross over). This work is essential to creating a brand that is authentic and opening up opportunities that stream from flow rather than hustle and grind.
Unlike other personal brand agencies, we build the brand around who you are rather than a persona we expect you to play when you’re in public. In the age of AI, authentic human connection is going to be more important than ever, not to mention being an expert at something that only you can do. This is how companies will make hiring decisions–who is the best?
Compared to other coaches, this isn’t just another form of therapy. You walkaway with a launchpad: a landing page, brand colors and fonts, podcast interviews, media hits, a social media strategy, personal styling, and tons of reusable content, plus access to a network of people where value flows freely. It’s everything I needed when I was getting started on this journey.
When I did my identity work, I came to recognize that many of us are just trying to make up for something that was missing in our childhood. When we come to understand that missing piece, we break the patterns holding us back and finally step into our true power. Turns out that what I was chasing is also the opportunity I am able to give to others. My program is the complete toolkit for being seen, heard, and valued for your innate gifts even in a noisy world.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett is one of my faves. I also love, love Pulling the Thread with Elise Lohenen and her book, On Our Best Behavior. I’m a big fan of Peloton too–the app and the Tread really put the power and possibility of a good workout within reach for anyone, anytime. Robin Arzon is my favorite instructor. I read or listen to books constantly. I highly recommend: 10x is Easier than 2x by Dr. Ben Hardy, The Courage to be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga, The Confidence Code by Katty Kat and Hidden Potential by Adam Grant
