Today we’d like to introduce you to Forest Lane Pediatrics.
Hi Forest Lane Pediatrics, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Forest Lane Pediatrics began more than 24 years ago with a simple but powerful mission: to provide children and their families with compassionate, evidence-based medical care delivered by board-certified pediatricians who truly understand the community they serve. What started as a small physician-owned and physician-managed practice has grown into a trusted, multi-location pediatric medical home serving families across Dallas, Mesquite, and Frisco.
From the beginning, we recognized that parents are flooded with advice — from well-meaning family members, friends, online groups, and social media. Our role has always been to help families cut through the noise. As pediatric experts, we guide parents toward what is safe, evidence-based, and right for their child. We see it as our privilege to help parents grow in confidence as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising their precious children.
Over the years, our growth has been driven by what families needed most — access, consistency, and a team they could rely on from infancy through adolescence. As the communities around us expanded, we opened additional locations in Mesquite and Frisco, added more board-certified pediatricians, integrated lactation services, expanded our newborn and adolescent care offerings, and embraced technology that helps families stay connected to their child’s care team.
Even as we’ve grown, our core philosophy has stayed the same: every child deserves high-quality, personal care from a pediatrician who knows them. We are proud that at Forest Lane Pediatrics, all well and sick appointments are always with a board-certified pediatrician. Families know they can count on that.
Today, Forest Lane Pediatrics is honored to be a long-standing, trusted partner to thousands of families — often caring for siblings, cousins, and even second generations. Our story continues to be written each day by the families we serve and the team members who pour their hearts into building a warm, supportive environment for every child who walks through our doors.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many healthcare practices, our journey has not been without challenges. As the region has experienced rapid population growth, ensuring families still receive the high-touch, personalized care that defines our practice has required careful planning, staffing, and expansion.
Maintaining consistent, evidence-based pediatric care through evolving healthcare landscapes, public health changes, and shifting family needs has also required adaptability. Balancing convenience — such as virtual visits, weekend hours, and secure messaging — with the deeply personal, relationship-focused nature of pediatrics has been a constant learning process.
Yet these obstacles have shaped us for the better. They pushed us to innovate, increase accessibility, and invest in services that truly support families — from on-site lactation consultants to extended hours for urgent needs. Every challenge has helped us refine how we deliver care and strengthened our commitment to being the pediatric home families can depend on.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has played a role in the sense that we have been fortunate to grow in a vibrant, diverse community filled with families who value exceptional pediatric care. We’ve been lucky to attract talented, compassionate pediatricians and staff who share our mission and values.
But when it comes to our success, it’s more than luck — it’s dedication, teamwork, and decades of commitment to doing what’s best for children. The trust families place in us is earned every day, and we never take that lightly.
